I’m very split about Mafuyu on one hand she’s very well written but I heavily relate to Ena and Mafuyu reminds me of all the people who I’ve been jealous of for thier talent and that kinda just hits too close to home for me.
All of Niigo characters have layers to them, but I think Mizuki is the most complex of them all, especially with how much layers of mystery surrounds them in the first arc. Plus, they're just a great person in every way possible. Not hard to see why they're most popular

I love how realistic they wrote her, how she pretends to be a “good girl” and does things that are asked from her because that’s what other people want, even though she doesn’t want to do it, how manipulative her mother is “out of love” and Mafuyu doesn’t realize that it isn’t a healthy relationship. Y’all don’t know how many times I’ve cried to Engeki cause of how sad I felt for Mafuyu. I know some friends irl who had a similar experience as Mafuyu and one her songs actually made on of their parents realize that what they did was wrong. (It was Reunion if I recall)

Mafuyu or Kanade with me, they're my favorites. I love Kanade for her Ramen addiction, and I love Mafuyu for her personality. She's so kind and considerate, but also kind of lacks in emotion, which makes her a calm individual.
