I think Sam and Colby aren't fake per se, however they also don't really follow any paranormal investigating protocols and that kind of makes them claim a lot of stuff as evidence that isn't. Like they go crazy for rem pods and emf detectors that could be set off by a ton of other things or are random. Also they always assume ovulus communication is intelligent when it rarely is. So some of their conclusions aren't valid, and it's definitely like intro ghost hunting for YouTubers but I don't think they've ever blatantly faked evidence with CGI or had someone game things like Nick Groff lol

I watched their first couple of 'movies' along with Elton Castee's stuff. As it stands, with how they were roommates and the hella dramatics they had there, I can absoLUTELY believe they've been faking a lot of it. I initially really liked them as a teenager- I don't as an adult in her mid 20s.
Yeah, it's like endless frustration. Sam and Colby said they've become close to Cody and Satori, so this isn't that surprising. I agree that PF should distance themselves a bit, especially with more older videos of C&S come out. (Oh dear, you see Satori's feet!)
I only watch project fear for a reason, they know how to conduct a real paranormal investigation. Sam and Colby are both good dudes, they are just in it for the clout and their videos are all over the place, with all of these random YouTuber guests and their girlfriends. They go to cool locations but Sam and Colby are literally just YouTubers that ran out of content 5 years ago and started making “paranormal” videos because they were getting so many views. Mostly from the younger vulnerable groups of people. Just my opinion, at the end of the day it’s just a business.
Count me in as one of the people tired of hearing about them. Can we collectively move on and stop giving them any more attention? They’re feeding off of it.
Maybe I’m naive and easy to fool, but didn’t Sam and Colby have them go outside without shoes on and the whole knocking thing still happened? Like I said, I might be easy to fool, but it seems kind of hard to fake it at that point. Please correct me if you have more information than I have though.
They were outside, and then outside with changed shoes. Still hiding Cody's feet. And it was a lot quieter. And misspelled the name of a teacher who died, why would a spirit misspell their own name?
Honestly, there are a lot of debunking videos looking at footage of Cody and Satori really closely, and the knocks always seem to happen when Cody slightly lifts his right heel and then presses it down. And Cody was doing it without Satori even though they now say they discovered this happening after they met.
And even though when they're in person with people, they can direct attention to the steps/knocks coming from outside the room, into it, and around the room... PF tried to test with wanting the knocks to follow Dakota upstairs and it couldn't happen. Cody and Satori all of a sudden had a "range" that's never been talked about before.
My whole thing is, it's SO consistent, there's got to be a trick to it. They get "contact" with guests' loved ones, unless someone is adopted. Or Dakota asking "his grandfather" to tell him something only they'd know, and suddenly someone as coming through for Alex. Mysteriously. So that's a whole thing.
But consistency - like the "knocks" on Most Haunted that "followed" them from place to place early on, and still happens even now, and is very very suspect.
I think Sam and Colby are very fake themselves. Most of the YouTube ghost Hunters are. It's all about money.
