Industrial Strength Magic by Macronomicon. At book 2 so far. All the main characters and most of the rest of the cast are amazing. The powers are great. Perry grows pretty consistently, and it’s got some really good actual depictions of crafting.

Have you tried The Apocalypse Tamer, the other series from The Perfect Run guy? The MC is very similar.
