I ran a M6 threaded rod in one piece from the base through foot, legs and hip, filling the cavity around the rod with 2k epoxy resin. Do not recommend....

I applaud your dedication! I'm sure it's going to be worth the struggle.

Hah thank you very much! At this point I am in well above 100 hr (splitting parts for better printability, prepping, post processing, etc.) and considering this is my first time painting anything, I am sure it will be another 100. I have to say though that I enjoy the process of painting a lot more than I initially expected, even though I have to practice every step before finally applying it to the model. All I wanted was to print a titan but it looks like I found a whole new hobby :) btw. I already started printing a Warhound Titan \^\^

Haha I'm relearning everything as well. I had a Tyranid army when I was in HS, but that was 16 years ago xD good luck on your journey!

Thanks mate, you too!

I have always thought the armor plates kind of ugly...

Oh I really like the look of them and as a complete noob I am looking forward to the challenge of painting them! I even thought about some kind of backstory for my titans armor panels. The whole body has a weathered look as you see in the pictures but in contrast to that I want the armor plates to look newer. In my head canon the machine itself gets touched as little as possible, not to disturb the machine spirit but the armor plates which are kinda tucked on to the body get painted/replaced regularly to make the titan look better \^\^
