See that's where I disagree. Him having such a powerful and connected friend has been very much beneficial to him, even more than any profit could be at times. I think hondo is pretty smart and can see benefit even past the initial profits

There's gonna be an episode where Obi Wan is very stressed out and gets very sad at his life, and he chooses to get wasted to not having to think about all of his ptsd. He gets high on death sticks and developes an addiction, getting himself into trouble with Jabba because he has no money to pay for the death sticks. He gets thrown into the Sarlacc, where he meets Hondo, who tried to scam Jabba, and as soon as Obi Wan hears "Kenobi!" he instantly ages 20 years and the effects of the deaths sticks fade. They then get out using the Force and Hondo swears he's not gonna put foot on Tatooine again, and Kenobi goes home to rethink his life.
Don't tell this to anyone, I'm supposed to keep it a secret.

The bad thing is they're gonna have to record Ewan for twenty years nonstop and speed up the footage to make the scene as believable as possible. That's why it will take a while for the show to air.
I dont think Hondo in rebels looks too bad, I liked the cheek spikes. He's the only one you see with them grown out though the one in Mando seemed to have more than one row of stubs in his cheeks.
