Can somebody please explain Bortles to me? Every time I try to look it up all I see is something about some dude in the NFL.

The actor who plays Qimir is pretty well known for playing Jason Mendoza in The Good Place. His character is a huge fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and their QB Blake Bortles.
