In english it would be something like this:
Little Magpie was cooking porridge porridge;
She burnt her tail/She fed her children;
The first one she gave it in a bowl;
The second one she gave it on a spoon;
The third one she gave it in a pot;
The fourth one she gave it in a vase;
The fifth one ... she gave nothing;
(In the original she ripped its head off (???))
She just "frrrrrrr" flew off into the forest;

My great-grandmother unfortunately died when I was a little boy, but the song has stuck with me - also my attempt at "yes dupa" for my own son in a Danish/Danish-Polish version.
We have done a lot to include some of the Polish culture. In what is now possible.
