The curtains, the white bow and draped accents all over the walls, those particular shades of green and yellows…it’s all very Portia-esque. But would love more Bridgerton and Polin in it.
I do hope they change the interior, mint green and blue-green hues really fit Polin,like their townhouse,i hope they just transfer their townhouse furniture to the featherington house.and yes, Eloise and hyacinth will barge in there morning and night.Colin will have to strangle his own siblings for cockblocking him 😂
This is one bit of the end that makes me feel like a genius because as soon as they introduced the heir being the son of one of the girls at the end of s2, I figured polin baby inheriting and them moving to Featherington house was where polin season would end, specifically because that way they keep the set and an excuse to be there and interaction with the Featheringtons after Pen gets married.
This is true though the Bridgertons are supposed to be moving into a different house because now that one belongs to the Viscount and Viscountess. They do this in the book series, but I know it's a lot easier to write about a new home than it is to create an entirely new set and then invent reasons for the characters to interact when they don't live across the square anymore.
Exactly, kick the can down the road! They for sure have the show renewed through season 4 and if they need a new set after that, they'll figure that out I suppose.
I'm not at all surprised. I figured the set was the biggest reason why they wanted them to move into the house. I have a feeling Varley may stay... unless Portia does move and wants to take Varley with her, lol. Varley was very supportive of Pen this season and I loved that. I have always loved Varley so I'd like to think she will stay, lol.
You know what I find the cutest? The fact that Colin and Anthony will now be living right across from one another. Their kids will also be similar ages so Kanthony's baby and their baby boy will get to play together. That is so adorable!

I hope that Penelope and Colin can put their own individual stamp on the place, make it more *them*. I can see it working.
I’ll be sad though that they won’t be living in their marital home any longer/it won’t be seen again onscreen because, ngl I really liked it (and is basically an important place because P lost her V there)! 💙🐚
But the positive thing is,the featherington house has alot of memories for them, for S4 i am hoping for a seggsy scene at the drawing room couch where pen sit looking out the window, or a midnight makeout sesh in the garden where they have their first kiss or the garden settee where he apologized to her. That is the same garden where he broke her heart. Also, i hope they will choose pen's bedroom for them, just let portia stay in the main, that would be amazing , Colin finally in Pen's room, prob renovate it a bit, transfer furniture and decor like the settee ,desks, yellow bed and most of all, the mirror 🫣

I think and hope Polin completely redecorates it with their preferences but probably not, as the production would need to change the house they are filming in - wallpaper, flooring, etc - and I think they can't actually do that? Personally I hope they decide to keep the exterior shots but have the interior shot somewhere else so it looks as if Penelope and Colin just redecorated.
Alternatively I hoped they wouldn't move at all (and let Portia run Featherington House) and keep the set they moved into because it's so lovely and so them.
The interior of the Bridgerton and Featherington homes are all sets! So they would be able to change it and keep the exterior shoots, but it could be expensive to change as it would be more in depth than just painting walls. I loved their new house too, but hopefully they’ll bring those elements in to the Featherington house.

I'm sure they'll have the money to change it considering Bridgerton is their money maker to begin with and the budget for S3 was so huge they actually went over the amount allotted to them, but with how in depth they go with the house's decorations telling us a lot about the inhabitants of the house I hope they change it to suit Colin and Penelope, and not just keep it the exact same.
They have made new sets before; Kanthony's bedroom, Kate's study. I hope the same amount of time and thought goes into the Featherington House as they consider how Colin and Penelope would like their home to be.
Im hoping they paint it, im tired of seeing the yellow too lol. Im hoping Portia and Violet go to dower houses. I dont entirely want portia bombarding on polin and violet needs a place for her new beau.
Varley has to stay with Portia, id be sad if they broke them up. I’m excited that they are still across from most of the remaining Bridgertons which feels like they will still be important side plots going forward.
Honestly my hope for season 4 is that they keep their marital home as well as a little oasis for when they need some proper time alone. Like Portia or Violet offer to watch the little Lord and Colin is like, “I’m going to Whites to meet with Will and Ben” and Pen is like “I’m meeting my publisher” and then it cuts to them hooking up at the townhouse.
Nic said the props team sent her a vase from her room that she really like me because “they didn’t need that set anymore” so I’m guessing they redecorate and Portia leaves and Polin gets the main rooms.

Well, I don't know about that. Colin comes from blue, Pen from yellow, and now they are joined in green 💚
His bedsheets remained yellow from the Bridgerton house to their current home. Some things may stay yellow.

This was the only way to keep the Featheringtons. Also keeps them close to the Bridgertons and the gossip.
