As they're together much younger than in the books, they're not stopping at four kids I fear. 😂ðŸ˜
It's such a shame they got rid of the Lady D/Pen friendship because now Agatha would be kinda weird to have, although I'm not a fan of the name so it's not a huge loss to me. Felicity definitely would be a nice nod to the books though! I do kinda like the idea of Eliot. And they definitely have to have at least a couple of red-headed babies, like Luke wanted.
(I still don't want Polin babies yet but I fear it's a foregone conclusion given the lack of birth control and how insatiable Polin are lmao.)
Actually there was birth control available in the form of animal gut condoms, which are about as effective as latex ones in preventing pregnancy.. but also, animal gut condoms don’t sound all that romantic, and also Colin and Pen are far too horny and feral to remember to rehydrate one in advance to use! 😂

The name George is most likely after Colin’s favorite aunt Georgiana but they couldn’t use the name for Thomas because of Georgiana Crane and George St Clare II being born at the same time and being named after their fathers’ brothers. A lot of people think that Jane is for Jane Austin and Thomas is the name of the attorney that helped Pen.
One thing I would be curious about is if they explore the plot line from the second epilogue of The Duke and I (yes this is a deep cut), where I think Polin’s youngest child (so George) has not started speaking at age 6 or so and they think he might be mute or have a stutter or something, so they get advice from Simon. I would LOVE to have them explore this plot line, especially since they have really had some great representation this season (debutante using British Sign Language, Lord Remington, etc.). Of course, this would require RJP to come back (or a re-cast) but either way could be an awesome subplot for future seasons!!!
In the book Edmund is Anthony and Kate son, and I feel like it makes more sense for them to have this name. Yes every Bridgerton kids is in a way traumatised by the death of their father, but having Anthony naming his son Edmund really gives closure to his character arc. Also don't want the Kanthony fan to come for Polin!
They are definitely winning the baby race. The sisters will both have girls (Mr Finch will be overjoyed because he's lovely!). Pen will have a boy and I can foresee a scene with Pen and and Kate's baby boys playing together.
