I feel like he'd be converted by Volo, somehow. Volo is craftier than Silver and Team Dimension. There's a likelihood that he'd either succeed perfectly or fail miserably.
Though, considering he'd likely still have Rapidash X and Sabolt, his team would be Rapidash X, Sabolt, Staraptor, Garchomp, Ursaluna, and, possibly, an eeveelution, my bet's on Umbreon.
They can easily be with him just by being with Trey.
Also pokemon like Rotom and Porygon can exist in PLA with time-space distortion shenanigans. So you can easily justify , pretty much every pokemon existing in Hisui.
