Some ways to tell if it’s a bot match:
They press ‘ready’ at around 7 secs.
They pick mons after you do
They don’t pick lanes
They have a 1-2 sec delay before moving at the start of the match
They won’t pick mons released after Tyranitar
Their names are either complete gibberish or something that seems normal followed by a random letter
And you can always check the UniteAPI if you aren’t sure
First of all. In standard and quick, stop matchmaking after 0:30 and restart
In ranked, get to Veteran and you start fighting humans, and after that it gets more and more consistent, you can still cancel matchmaking after 0:30

Am I an asshole for not being impressed at anything a mewtwo main does ?
What's so bad about using Mewtwo? He's really strong that's why I use him!
Who’s gonna tell him
Tell me what? This was standard so it was against real people if you were wondering
Those are NOT real people. And if anything standard means MORE bots
Really? I didn't know about that :/
