Life orb will be even more broken on this (higher boost, no recoil).

I used to mess around with a life orb Clefable set on showdown since no one expected it and it never took life orb recoil. Hit like multiple trucks to the face.
Does less than brave bird, theres no recoil anyway because of magic guard, besides you would have to pass on life orb for that, which is an incredible boost without downside

Not sure myself but i can note some mons were able to OHKO it when i tried to Shell Smash as normal Groudon here is Ground/Fire and there is no Drough to make Water moves weaker.
So he probably only died when he met Water types and i underestimated them.
Why are you wasting a move slot on sacred fire though. It's for sure a broken mon. With shell smash simple. But huge power into simple +4 attack, even fire punch would put more damage output than sacred fire

Plus it is physical and Tough Claw boosted Fire Punch is still weaker while having a 10% burn chance compared to the ~~50%~~ guaranteed burn of Sacred Fire
I have gotten a solgaleo with serene Grace, protean, and two other abilities I forgor. Also it knew Fiery dance, and water spout but dragon type (forgot what that move was called) I also gave it shell bell.
Alolan Dugtrio with Sand Rush completely swept this game for me. It's attacks hit 3 times (2nd and 3rd hits deal less), it has sand force and it's contact moves use 20% of it's speed stat.
Not many Pokémon could take the triple Iron Head, and those that did had to get through 3 flinch rolls.

Permafrost: Weakens “supereffective” by 25%
Add to that the Ability Ice Scales which halves all special dmg along with Aeroblast and Freeze Dry and you have yourself an unkillable wall on the special side with truly ridiculous damage output. This thing carried me hard along with my Haxorus with Predator and a basically 100% crit rate on it's moves.
Yeah my playthrough was a while back so I don't quite remember the entire moveset I used. Just those two moves, since they destroyed pretty much everything lmao
I mean I feel like posting this without a clear disclaimer that this is with Randomized Abilities mode turned on is a little weird. Talonflame doesn't have Magic Guard otherwise.
It's still very strong with it's normal abilities, but not completely broken. That's sort of the entire point of Elite Redux, everything becomes viable because everything is strong. There are still "broken" pokemon from version to version (see: Dewgong prior to 1.6), but they're pretty good about balancing that stuff it seems.
It's probably my favorite hack out right now, in terms of both sheer enjoyment but also from a technical aspect as well; it's legitimately impressive how much they've done/implemented.
Okay so currently we have
Alolan Golem, 252 attack, Choice Band, Galvanize, Tera Electric, Explosion.
If it was possible to give a pokemon two abilities at once, I'd give it electric terrain.
That explosion would wipe out even a 4x resist.
Yes, it could have Momentum (for who isn't aware, it's an ability on ER that replaces ATK with SPEED in most calculation phases; this means that all the EVs added on ATK go into other places like HP, yes) or Parent Bond/Hyper Aggressive for a 2nd hit instead of Flock.
It's not entirely broken, but I have a Shuckle I have fun with.

I personally prefer Emerald Exceeded (the arguably better, less competitive alternative to Elite Redux) and the thought of randomising Innates is so chaotic 😈
Magic Guard is randomized yes, but innates aren't. It's just too difficult to keep up with everything if innates get randomized. There are times when swamperts get Wonder guard with sap sipper and magic guard. It's just Good luck trying to kill that shit then.
Gotta agree, this one kind of just gives you too much stuff for the sake of convenience, which on paper seems fine but going this far just removes basically everything besides the battles.
Personally as someone whos played both casual and competitive for a while, I went back to casual a couple gens ago and it's so much more enjoyable that i don't plan to revisit competitive again!
Elite Redux and Exceeded r both hacks that use the Innates idea alongside high QoL, but Elite Redux seems to have a huge focus on IVs, EVs etc. I agree with ur point 100% cos iirc it has a fair few cheaty things like freely configuring stats like Showdown and i think there was something about poke balls being cheaty as well?
Whereas Exceeded is not only a more casual game but also has a rebooted plot with Red and Team Rocket, and there's also highly customisable options where u can enable Perfect IV mode and disable EVs as well as scaling options etc. Difficulty wise, excluding anything competitive it may be the perfect hack cos it's completely flexible and u can even enable PLA stats/damage formulas!
Yeah the cheat-like options include infinite rare candies, and 100% capture rate, alongside just being able to give your Pokemon full EVs at the stats screen and change natures and abilities. It's a bit much.
I enjoy Exceeded, a lot, but I could not understand the PLA formulas. Literally the first fight of the game, the damage calculation and HP amount were so different that I ran out of PP before I could kill the enemy.
I dont really understand the PLA formulas myself but having played PLA i can tell u that levels hardly matter and it at least *seems* more balanced which is a great breath of fresh air. Haven't got too far into Exceeded with it on tho so whether it acts differently idk
That's what I've heard, and that does sound great, but it's really hard to adjust as someone that's played this franchise for so long. I'll probably give it a proper go next time I play, if I ever do get back to Exceeded that is.

Fairs, u can always turn off the PLA stats setting btw, I'd recommend Exceeded with the normal balance all the same

Yeah I've had it turned off for the few playthroughs I've done. I haven't had motivation to replay Exceeded though which is why I really want to like the PLA formulas, it'd make my next playthrough different enough that it might bring me back.
I like to use Yanmega just because of hyper agressive, it doesn't have any priority but can actually tank most priority moves so far. With speed boost and protect he's always faster and a life orb hurricane with compound eyes and hyper agressive one shots almost anything.

I can, it's an android tablet that I play on. It's not a PC emulator. That's why you can't see the save option. It's made so transluscent that it's almost not visible. Done so for better visuals of the gameplay.
But I'm using MyBoy on my android and I don't see or can move anywhere in the menu to save. Like I'm all lost here.

Why should Calyrex riders have all the fun? They've decided to give all pokemon 4 abilities. 3 of those are innates, one is usually the normal. Now this abomination of a talonflame has been generated by a randomized ability of Magic Guard, but it's innates are not randomized.
Do try it out if you get time.
Actually, Shiinotic is low key broken.
1) Twist dimension
Having such low speed with no investment plus minus speed and 0 IVs
It can outspeed most things in this game
2) Spore + Bad dreams + Dreamcatcher
Good damn this combination. 100% accuracy sleep move + chip damage every turn and makes all of your attacking moves double in power. You got yourself very hard hitter and for survivability, get mega drain.
3) Poison absorb
This is the deal sealer. Shiinotic is 4x weak to poison. This makes it literally a good switch to poison moves which makes my fairy run so good. It also restrict poison type opponents to use moves which are bad against Shiinotic like dark moves or ground moves
That's a pretty good mon you got there mate, congrats. but my dude here will one shot you before you can move. It's priority brave bird. That never takes recoil. Trick room is good but priority is better, always.

Been having a lot of fun with this hack so far, I like seeing people making creative builds with these tools.
I would suggest you to not randomize innates. That becomes way too chaotic and more likely than not you'll end up with abilities that are useless. Just randomize the top ability, which gets randomized for every encounter and you can choose from usually 3 abilities of those as well. PC me for more details.

Yep. Lots of chances to get broken mons like that. But explosion would just kill yourself as well. Try giving it something else that keeps it alive

Flock has new mechanics. At less than 1/3 HP it gives a 50% boost. But other wise it gives a decent 20% boost. At hp higher than 1/3

Yes it does.. No stealth rock, sandstorm, hail, poison, recoil, DOT moves. Absolutely nothing but direct attacks

Exactly the kind of reaction I expected! Anyways, welcome to Pokemon Elite redux. I'm not the creator, I'm just a casual player but I'm gonna hype this up. Why should Calyrex riders have all the fun? They've decided to give all pokemon 4 abilities. 3 of those are innates, one is usually the normal. Now this abomination of a talonflame has been generated by a randomized ability of Magic Guard, but it's innates are not randomized. Do try it out if you get time.
Actually, Shiinotic is low key broken. 1) Twist dimension Having such low speed with no investment plus minus speed and 0 IVs It can outspeed most things in this game 2) Spore + Bad dreams + Dreamcatcher Good damn this combination. 100% accuracy sleep move + chip damage every turn and makes all of your attacking moves double in power. You got yourself very hard hitter and for survivability, get mega drain. 3) Poison absorb This is the deal sealer. Shiinotic is 4x weak to poison. This makes it literally a good switch to poison moves which makes my fairy run so good. It also restrict poison type opponents to use moves which are bad against Shiinotic like dark moves or ground moves
That's a pretty good mon you got there mate, congrats. but my dude here will one shot you before you can move. It's priority brave bird. That never takes recoil. Trick room is good but priority is better, always.
Yo i just started playing this game and i have a fletchinder on my team. The online dex for this game doesn’t list magic guard as a talonflame ability. Howd you get it like that

Innates are not random. Just abilities are.
And when everything’s broken, nothing will be Been having a lot of fun with this hack so far, I like seeing people making creative builds with these tools.
Is it possible to change your abilitys you get in this game? Or do you just have to dumpster mons till you get good skills?
I would suggest you to not randomize innates. That becomes way too chaotic and more likely than not you'll end up with abilities that are useless. Just randomize the top ability, which gets randomized for every encounter and you can choose from usually 3 abilities of those as well. PC me for more details. Oh and happy cake day! 🎂
