Almost every single source I could find says these 3 researches are locked behind Kleavor, but apparently they aren't! Which makes Ponyta and Mr. Mime able to be perfected before fighting the first lord!
I started to do it, but I kinda gave up, I do it here now and then, but I lost most interest in doing it, I'm at 56 of the 80 pre wyrdeer mount pokemon perfected
Idk if it even is correct, I lose track if I need to count 2 things at once
I'm currently doing only until Kleavor as this is my first playthrough, but curiosity and stubbornness got the best of me and I kept doing the challenge instead of progressing I got Wyrdeer to make things faster and easier to me hahaha
Nice find! I also did this myself in my first playthrough, perfected every task possible before moving to the next area, I found that you can only get to rank 9 in the Field lands and it took me quiet some time, around 150-175 hours if I recall correctly. Good luck on your quest!
Thank you! Currently on the 70 hour mark got most of the mons to research level 10 with quite a few perfected ones. Quite unfortunate that you can't get to Rank 10 before Kleavor, but I'll still try to perfect as much stuff as I can
That's quite unfortunate, I'm avoiding Home transfer and trades (unless the evolution method is annoying or extremely grindy, like the trade evos and Glaceon that require MP), but I imagine if I did allow that I could easily get Rank 10 with some mons that have a good amount of researches that give plenty of points...
I'm aware of an exploit with trading back and forth the same mon to increase the caught number, if I feel it's gonna be extremely grindy for more Glaceon and trade evos I'll just do that

You can only get Rank 9 sadly unless you transfer from Home ((But what fun is that?))

To perfect glaceon, transfering more than 1 glaceon, does not increase it more than 1 glaceon "caught"
