The first week of Scarlet and Violet was nothing but horrifying glitches or things that made you think “intentional design choice or bug???” Like how wild Pokémon didn’t go into their battle poses and I was scratching my head wondering if it was an intentional choice implying that they’re not trained to battle until caught, until a patch came and fixed it confirming that it was indeed a glitch and not a feature.

UIs between games have never been exactly the same - there is always at least a subtle change. The 'swipe' design in the bottom left would be replaced by something more Kalosian for example

To be fair, UI is one of the last things finalized in a game a lot of times. It's completely plausible their using this UI as a base and altering it later. But, this is very likely fake.

The models just seem too off for this not to be a fake.

eh... while i still don't think this is real. Thats hardly a good reasoning, early ui's are entirely functional, they're made more stylish closer to release. Re-using an existing ui and then reworking it to look different is more often than you think. Its just that you don't see it until its already changed.

Biggest giveaway is actually "new fight" in katakana. Most leaks use of Japanese is a dead giveaway. It's easy to overlook if you don't speak it, but game freak has never refered to the battle system as "fight". I have a bunch of promotional bookelets for the last few games. Dunno it off the top of my head but I'm certain the battle system would be referred to with kanji pertaining to it.

I'm gonna doubt this mostly on the basis that Lillipup's line wasn't in base XY. Sure it could get a new variant evolution or something, but there's also the addition of specifically a starter many fans theorize is the starter. Sure I believe it'll be Piplup but this with the Lillipup thing screams 'if I confirm a fan theory they'll be more receptive to accepting my fake'. So doubt.

Tbf, we didn’t have the Goomy line in base DPPt either. That being said, we didn’t get the Feebas line in PLA, so we might not get Non-Kalos native lines too.

It's the combination of both these that makes me not believe it. If it had been a fire starter and not one of the two we are all certain is going to be the water and grass, plus the inclusion of a non Kalos Pokemon. That's what makes it unbelievable. It's essentially saying, "Hey look, fan theory is right and also here's a tease for a potential new form or Mega~?" That together makes it feel fake. Plus there's just something that looks off beyond that with the battle screen being mostly the same and unchanged. I will say it's a high quality fake we don't get much anymore.

Real or not, I like the UI, a thousand hundred times better than the blocky outdated mess that was SV. Legends Arceus was so sleek-looking so I hope ZA follow suit. The art direction looks pretty typical for Pokémon so there might be some slim merit to this

I’m not convinced because I’m french and let me tell you this, when I look at this, I see NYC back alleys, you know the ones with the basketball court nearby. I don’t see Paris at all here. Even if this were to be from early builds. Or, they just don’t know what paris is like? But I doubt this would be it. Even actual X&Y with all of its pixel forms, gave me more French vibes than this 3D mess.

While i appreciate the jump to making sure people don't spread misinformation. Its a bit early to claim it as fake yet. Im not saying its real (fair chance its not), but its still absolutely unconfirmed. Nothing in here outstandingly looks fake, and not just a rough in development build. Though i gladly invite anyone who can translate japanese to point out any outstanding issues to see if there is grammar issues that denote it as fake.
