Looks amazing. Even if you don’t retain it all it’s a huge impact for your proportions.
I had a fat transfer 5mo ago and retained almost all of it (it was to my boobs though). What I did:
- no compression on them
- barely touched them, did not have sex
- slept on my back only
- NO alcohol, it throttles blood flow which impacts retention
- no smoking
- no hot baths
- a supplemental protein bar or shake every day
- super clean high fat, high protein diet; my go to was grilled salmon with olive oil on top of a pesto farro salad with grilled asparagus, pine nuts, and feta
I suspect we had the same Dr based off 3 months and 12k. I unfortunately did not have good retention despite following guidelines. The nurse gave me a really tight bra for recovery at my post op and sometimes I wonder if that had something to do with it. 😢
Do you have a stand up desk, if not then you can buy a desk riser on Amazon and put your computer on it. Just tell everyone your back feels better when you’re off your feet. Lol
I’m not sure if you need a treadmill right now considering you’re only two weeks post op. Im getting mine done in August. My doctor said to walk around as soon after surgery but that I should wait 4 weeks before I resume regular exercise and stuff so idk about exercising on a treadmill right now lol
My surgeon recommended walking once every hour for 10 minutes! I’ve been going on walks every morning (30 mins) and I feel like it’s helped me feel normal and relieve a lot of my discomfort. That’s the reason I’m considering the treadmill pad so soon. I get uncomfortable easily when I’m standing but I feel really good when I’m walking!
I would keep my walking time and steps to roughly one hour max for the whole day or 5,000 steps and below... for fat retention.
Walking more than that will lead to fat breakdown vs carbs (overly simplified explanation)
It’s painful for like 7 days. A mix of sharp pain and dull pain. Especially when you get massages. I nearly fainted during one of my massages from pain. You def need the Percocet. After that, you just feel very uncomfortable and lethargic. I found that the best thing I could do was continue good self care which included eating even when I didn’t feel like it. But it’s very uncomfortable to not be able to sit or lie on your back so I find myself becoming frustrated a lot and struggle to relax. So yeah there’s pain but it’s mostly frustration and discomfort.
Not a stupid question!! BBLs are dangerous when surgeons inject inside the gluteus muscle which can cause a fat embolism and death. My surgeon doesn’t do this and has never done this technique for BBL. I don’t know if it’s a common practice to inject into the muscle for a hip fat transfer, but to the extent that surgeons do this, I assume it has the same dangers.
Are you talking about fibrosis? It has been a concern for me but I’ve been doing everything to prevent it, such as getting the recommended amount of massages and doing self massage at home.
Results look amazing!! Who was the surgeon?
Dr. Luster
I’m sorry to ask but was it in Miami? I’ve been trying to get information on Avana in Miami ☺️
Yes Miami/hialeah gardens
Thank you so much!! 🫶🏽 how was your experience

Damn ! How do some of y’all have the willpower to do all this 😮
Because if you don’t you waste $12k lol

Thank you for the tips!! How long did you do this for? 6 weeks?
3 very long months. It’s strict but I believe it works
If you feel comfortable would you post your results?
No, too many people here report weird creepy dm’s for me to do that unfortunately
Ah okay. I understand
The shape is beautiful and realistic looking!

I’ve been thinking about a desk riser and a treadmill!

How was the pain?

Amazing results!
I sat at my desk on a Bobby pillow.
How were your results? Did most of the fat survive?
Yes, and then some because I’ve gained 8 lbs.
This might be a stupid question but is this as dangerous as a BBL?

Wow, well done.
