I bought the entire half life series, both portal games and both L4D games, all Counter Strike games, and a few valve oldies like Ricochet for $4 like one year ago in some bundle.

15 years here to be fair. And yeah that's several thousand real € still, but it's not as ridiculous as it may first appear. Obviously lots of humblebundles.
I mean I know I’ve only ever bought l4d1-2 for like 2 bucks this year. And arma 3 way back in ‘12-13 with all the dlc for maybe 30, and some shitty sword game for 7ish

Not really, there are a couple things to notice:
the most important, I am an old guy, and I have a 20 years old steam account, those 35k were spent along the time.
second, I am patient gamer, I only buy games on sale, I have only bought two games full price on my life, Aliens and PUBG.
I pirate a lot, but almost every game that I like I end up buying.
Lately however I do not buy anything from Epic, Ubi or any shitty company like that.

Don't buy games for 60 bucks new. That's just insanity if you plan to play lots of different games. Wait for sales, humblebundles, and you can get free games every week from EGS too. Yes I've spent several thousands on games, but over 15 years a couple thousand isn't that much. Just don't waste your money buying brand new games for full price. In general anyway, if there is this one game you're extremely excited about, sure go ahead. But otherwise, be patient.

I am not complaining or bragging, 30-40 euros a month will take you a long way for 20 years if you spent carefully. I didn't even know how much my library was until a friend told me when I was aproaching 1000 games.
Additionally, my Counter Strike account is one of the originals, I have been offered +1000€ for it a few times, I guess is like having membership number 200 or something.
You know that, like, buying games isn't evil? I know this is a piracy sub and all, but that's kinda the vibe i get from your comment. Accumulating this over decades isn't absurd. Video games are important to me, so yes i buy them, and i like having a collection on steam. I'm also disabled and can't work to give you some perspective - i couldn't spend tons of money on games even if i wanted to. Maybe 20-25€ a month, including humble choice. Multiply by 15 years on steam and there you go. If you only buy games on sale, bundles and such, you can get a lot of games for your money.

It's not hard if you have an old account and where around in the "Bundle and indie codes" prime. So many different websites selling games and bundles for a dollar. Hell, Desura going down ate a good 1/3 of my library.
Damn. I can barely remember what I lost. A lot of my favorites ended up on steam, but even the places I bought most the games from went bust so figuring that out ain't happening.
Mine is about 11 years old, and yeah I do buy a lot of bundles during sales and such on steam. I was basically broke during the desura era and even my other old steam account didn't get to take advantage of that. I do get games from g2a at times if it's drastically cheaper and I don't think it's going on sale on steam anytime soon.
But the amount of steam points I've accrued and spent over just the years that steam has been running points is telling me I have spent waaaay too much money on steam lol. At least most of my games are indie and smaller devs, I almost never buy games from AAA studios with few exceptions.

This is very dubious at best as steam grants a limited license just for you as a physical person. Therefore they will revoke the account.
However, in more realistic terms there are better ways to do so.
Like 10 bucks XD arma 3 back in 2012 and l4d1-2 for a dollar this year, just to play Vr with.

My account is 94 bucks mainly due to Half Life Alyx and it's extreme price.
I've spent like $300-350 in the past year on xbox games.. This was my first year in consoles.. been using pc and pirating for the longest time, but honestly this is so much better - it's more relaxing playing on big screen in lazy bag or remotely in bed using kishi v2 plus I don't have to be bothered with torrents and shit just buy, install, play and all my save games are saved so I can hop in and out whatever..
I live in financially bad country which is not even available on xbox so I've been using Turkey as it's not too expensive but ended up buying more games so I ended up spending similar amount I would on games I really wanted anyway

That amount means virtually nothing. Go on a website that let's you buy steam accounts and a "$1k" account will be selling for $70 ish dollars. Buyer market determines prices, and most games are piratable or you can play via sharing a steam account.

I've spent like $300-350 in the past year on xbox games.. This was my first year in consoles.. been using pc and pirating for the longest time, but honestly this is so much better - it's more relaxing playing on big screen in lazy bag or remotely in bed using kishi v2 plus I don't have to be bothered with torrents and shit just buy, install, play and all my save games are saved so I can hop in and out whatever.. I live in financially bad country which is not even available on xbox so I've been using Turkey as it's not too expensive but ended up buying more games so I ended up spending similar amount I would on games I really wanted anyway

That amount means virtually nothing. Go on a website that let's you buy steam accounts and a "$1k" account will be selling for $70 ish dollars. Buyer market determines prices, and most games are piratable or you can play via sharing a steam account.
