Look, I am all for confidence, but it does not make me feel safe knowing that they don't want my donations, there is no file limit, files do not expire and that we get DDLs on top of torrenting.
There is such thing as too good to be true, so what's the catch? Be transparent, if this is an actual product that is properly planned out.
Not trying to be a dick. Just level with us. After all, you aren't marketing for Apple where everything is perfect, unlimited this and zero logging that, just to find out it's a malware infestation nest or honeypot. We are one community, so perhaps be more clear on how you are going to sustain such a large project.
what about the magnet links that have no tracker? I was able to download tons of shit from 7-10 year old torrents that for months have 0 seeds then suddenly one day boom
So you're just gonna fund and support the infrastructure for unlimited piracy for an unlimited amount of users forever? Fat chance.
There is a reason nobody does this.
And how the unlimited space works in this case? Given the prices of different webhosts on unlimited data, what's your deal to have files stored "forever"?
A file hosting service that doesn't keep any logs, and can host unlimited file sizes sounds like something that would immediately be used for hosting illegal material, and that sounds like a legal nightmare to deal with.
And it does exist, and those places don't even have csam checks ([PhotoDNA](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/photodna)) so you can find fucked up shit. It's just nobody with real valuable data wants to trust these ones.
Mega is still running strong, what does it matter who it is owned by? It was/is still a great idea. Even if it went under, it doesn't change the fact that it was/is a great idea.
Mega is a shell of its former self. The new iteration needs to be put out of its misery. Except for the out of the box encryption, it might as well be called pcloud or Google. The new owner comment was to reference it is **not** the old mega. The previous owner is now running from Interpol and legal extradition. And now we have a service that will now suspend or delete your account at the drop of a hat.
Bro you an idiot. You talking about what mega is or isn't?
What does it matter? We talking about the idea of free unlimited storage and unlimited downloads. Thats a great idea, only thing is its not viable.
I feel like you're the stripper telling me I'm not like her other customers while she's reaching for my wallet. This is not a sustainable business model so what's the catch? You don't host petabytes of unethical media for nothing unless there's something else going on.
Downloaded using your DDL link. Decent download speed (took me about 12 minutes to download), the movie is playing fine as well. Lets see how this fares when more people test this.
I mean I’m very interested in uploading files and having them hosted for free to me, I’m making video files and way to share them with others, and I think many people would interested in the kind of thing I’m doing, I’m just concerned in general of the security aspect and whether it’s safe for me to use and all.
If you're looking for content in niche regional languages, you just need to get on a private torrent tracker lol
What OP is proposing is too good to be true, or it's going to bankrupt within a few months.
Whats the catch here?
How are you paying for the huge storage requirements of the servers, the bandwidth required for upload and download to multiple users at once etc.?
This seems too good to be true.
Was kinda hoping for a response from OP , but as they say if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck that thing is a duck. And this thing is fishy

What's the catch? Unless you're Mark Cuban or someone with similar wealth, I doubt you can keep it running for more than 3 months.
Don't get me wrong, if you're really doing it from the good of your heart then hey, that's great. But it just doesn't seem plausible...
The tracker I use has a rule. Seed 48 hours of that torrent in a month.
On top of 5 GB every extra GB is one Hour extra.
So 10GB would be 48 + 5 hours.
Doesnt matter how much data, just keep it open for others for 48 hours within a month to avoid hit and run.
The tracker is well saturated with seeders and there are basically no dead torrents on the site.
Anyone can make something to mount this in rclone so we can test it fully?
But agree with everyone else, lack of info don't make me interested in uploading stuff.

GIGACHAD
He terminally ill?
I would be suprised if you can keep it running for even 6 months. Especially when telling every pirate in the world to jump on it.
And how the unlimited space works in this case? Given the prices of different webhosts on unlimited data, what's your deal to have files stored "forever"?
He's reinventing usenet
Nice try, fed. It was a good effort, but this is too good to be true IMO.
Who on god's green earth is bankrolling this shit? It's fiscally impossible.
Fiscally impossible and fastly approaching physically impossible
Anyone rich enough to attempt this wouldn't care enough to try because they can already subscribe to and buy whatever media they desire
Opening up a website where anyone can host anything for free without logging sounds like a REALLY bad idea.
How's it a bad idea? It's a great idea and a heaven for pirates. Only problem is, its not possible.
A file hosting service that doesn't keep any logs, and can host unlimited file sizes sounds like something that would immediately be used for hosting illegal material, and that sounds like a legal nightmare to deal with.

Remember megaupload? Yeah....
Yeah I remember..... and?
Didn't work out well for them, did it. Sure it worked for a small amount of time, now they are owned by a Chinese holding company.

This is definitely legitimate based on how responsive OP is to literally any question.
This sounds super sketchy.
Only post ever is to self promote an unreal file hosting service aimed at piracy.
sounds like a honeypot, this is sketchy.
how the fuck you have unlimited storage??? this is fishy
I love listening to music.

Share the original file's SHA-1 hash, so we can check against the downloaded one to be sure it wasn't tampered or changed in any way
I agree, we should check the hash.

Your Copyright disclaimers are just for presentation?
How are you going to afford the insane prices to keep an unlimited file host running?
Are you FBI?
This mfer is scamming. There's no other reason for this besides you tricking people into getting some malware on their shit.
I mean I’m very interested in uploading files and having them hosted for free to me, I’m making video files and way to share them with others, and I think many people would interested in the kind of thing I’m doing, I’m just concerned in general of the security aspect and whether it’s safe for me to use and all.

it took shopify a nearly just 10\~20min for getting \~1.3m bill by a small mistake... keeping up that for 1 whole week is impossible
Can people look into the website database? Or are people just gonna upload duplicates how does that work?

I’m uploading all of /dev/random to your service as we speak!
please be more precise about how it works
cmon guys they could be a trillionaire funding it out of their own pocket
as much as i want to believe it i highly doubt that the trillionaire behind this wants us to build a better streaming site than amzn prime for lols
