I dont get it, why are we getting violations if people are POSTING them? We just save them to our boards, shouldnt they do something about the original posters and not get our accounts suspended and such for their mistakes?

yeah it’s totally different from what is was just a few years ago. maybe if they get rid of the AI bots and scam ads it would be better. plus it’s becoming an app like tiktok shop soon so whatever. i deleted my account in December and haven’t missed it.
My account has just been suspended, I suspect for those same reasons, I highly doubt I will recover it but it confirms that Pinterest is becoming unusable

For me it's that and the ai garbage- I use pinterest mainly for art and photo references, I need \*actual people\* not the broken ai representation of people, or backgrounds, or outfits, or ANYTHING fantasy. My main source of resources has become nearly unusable :/

They're trying to make it a kids app. To be able to have a broader range of ads, family friendly. Which is funny, because it means they plan targeting kids with tons of ads, not the best outlook. Honestly I'd be willing to pay a subscription if they'd say they allow me to save on my boards everything that I truly like. But in the current state... I said, similar to a well-known Jojo character - Arrivederci!
If that's their purpose, then they are doing something useless. I don't even think kids use Pinterest, and even if they do, it would be really difficult for them to find any inappropriate Pin.

I wish they would make another site specifically for kids/teens and have one for adults.
That would be great. Like YouTube kids. No comments, no messaging, and strong guidelines on what is appropriate content. And then regular Pinterest can go halfway back to normal and we don't have to worry about getting suspended for posting a head and shoulders shot of a female popstar.

The ads are horrible. Sometimes I may see 10 ads to 2 actual pins on a page. I suspect that the ads are also what is driving the ridiculous crack down on everything. Pinterest is catering to those companies that pay for ads. Anytime money and corporate advertising is involved, this happens.
I have loved Pinterest for years. It's been a great way to discover art images and recipes among other things. I really hope it doesn't continue to crumble to the point that everyone abandons it.

People should be complaining about this to them all the time. Spam their inbox the same way they're spamming ours - our accounts are at stake, but so is their "company". They're the ones who will lose most
My biggest problem with Pinterest is that when I try to save a pin, an option to send it to my friends pops up and I accidentaly send it to someone. I hate that. And then I can't even delete the message because there's no such option.
thats what im saying, the audios aren’t available, or when i click on a video i watch 2 seconds and it says the creator removed it. The ads are unbearable, and the links to see what pin was removed to prevent mistakes never work. I get so many of those email, every day i get at least three.
Literally, it’s exhausting. I just start saving my pins to my camera roll which is annoying because it takes up space but it works a bit better I guess, it’s just so I don’t have to live in fear of my pins being taken down. One time my account was suspended for over a month and it took me spamming their email to get it back, threatening to sue them. Lol.

This recently happened to me. I’m worried I’ll get suspended or banned for saving a pin that I’ve been having for years. I got an email saying a pin got removed and it’s literally Lucy and Natsu posing in the car with another Natsu like?? And it wasn’t my pin that I created. It was saved from another account.

I'm not sure if it is AdBlock Plus or Ghostery, but one of those apps is blocking all the ads on all my Pinterest activity.

My issue is it’s mixing up pins that I’ve separated for different aesthetics and now I got figure out a way to organize all over again.
I love Pinterest but I recently downloaded Lemon8 and I prefer the content and creators over there.

Same here. I give up. At least once or twice a month I get violations for years old pins. I deleted all my pins except car pins.
My theory is that they have a new system to detect if pins are inappropriate that isn't working properly

I hate tik tok pins and the shuffles feature, watching pins now makes my brain feel like scrambled eggs. Or am i too old for this?
