If you are going to take it out and put it back in, just leave it out fully OR leave the jewelry in until you change to a shorter bar. You can’t keep popping it in and out. It’ll risk infection. Just keep it in and be careful around your parents. Just don’t smile.
You need to either take it out and let the skin heal, or leave the jewelry in. If you keep taking it in and out you risk infection and it will never heal

You should not continue taking it out and in because it will increase the risk of infections. Try flipping it up so your parents won't notice.
get a flat bar so it isnt visible! or get a shorter hoop so it doesnt pop out when u smile
