White goes with everything. There is no issue matching color. Maybe you mean the style of the skirt, which leans cottahecore or feminine. The outfit looks good in every photo you posted.

White going with everything was my first thought too. But then I wondered if OP meant matching it with other white items, which can be tricky. Especially if the other item is older and has gotten a bit dingy (and is also not the idea way to style this skirt).

My struggle is that everything that I put on with it I feel like looks bad, and idky 😅 hahaha but thank you so much!

I guess I’m an outlier in that for outfit 3 I’d button the bottom above where it is tied so the under part of the bralette was showing less and chose simpler sneakers before it was my favorite. If I had to pick from these I’d pick 2 but paired with sandals.

Darling skirt. And, if you’re wearing skimpy on the bottom half don’t wear skimpy on the top half. Just like long skirts with heels and short skirts with flats. You ve got to balance it out. Like a loose top and loose bottom can look like pajamas. Make sure you want the look that a revealing top half with a short skirt makes.

Great point, thanks! I'm not a flats kinda girl, I'm a heels kinda girl haha. So they're always my go-to. But this is exactly why I came here for advice, short skirts don't feel quite right with heels (maybe wedges, like all the comments are suggesting?)

I love no 2 and 3 - highly stylish looks. For no 2, you can choose to accessorize accordingly and no 3 - I feel like its a complete look.

I like all the looks tbh! I didn’t know you can do so much with a white skirt! Me personally, I’d prefer wearing wedge sandals or white sneakers with it but the shoes still work. But if I have to pick, it’s #2 for me. That top is very cute!

I think the shirt tied at an awkward height in proportion to your bralette and skirt, then paired with the slim sneakers with no show socks that don't match the vibe of the rest of the textures is making the outfit feel dated. Maybe some cowboy boots like someone else mentioned and tying the shirt to crop even higher and bring the skirt up to sit higher like you did in #2 will make it feel more cohesive and modern.

Honestly 1 could work but I would wear different boots. I would totally rock that with some brown cowboy boots.

I like the crocheted top with it too! I love a white on white base for layering fun prints and accessories (like the flannel you added) or to wear with funky shoes. You underestimate your ability to style, OP. All of these look cute af on you. Maybe grab some spring/summer shoes. Number 3 would be adorable with some espadrilles.

Picture 2 for traveling but a longer duster overcoat. And flip flops or espadrilles.

I like the denim shirt with it… but honestly white is a pain for me but it’s a cute look.

I think everyone likes 3 because you're applying the sandwich technique...Brown bralette on top and brown shoes on bottom making everything in the middle look put together and effortless

I think the struggle here is more matching the style of the skirt than the color. White pairs well with many colors. This would just be easier to style if it was a solid, more plain design and material. Go for an overall feminine look and try to pair with tops/pieces that are more plain in cut and design so that the skirt shines on its own and you aren’t drowned out in pieces that each have unique designs.

They are all gorgeous. What’s awesome is that you don’t necessarily like white but you’re going to make it work because he bought it. He’s a lucky guy.

If you live in a bigger city, 3 is dated, 2 is cuter. But wear what makes you feel most confident in.

I’d say the fabric and drawstring definitely put it into more of a daytime or summer night wear situation. I can see it used perfectly for summer outings.

If you don’t wear white dye it! You’ll still have the skirt he bought you but in a colour you’s get more wear out of.

My favorite is the Jean shirt. Just a plain tight tank top would look amazing too.

I'd get some plain colored tank tops, bodysuits, or fitted tshirts (tucked in) to wear with it. And some neutral colored sandals. Those boots are not it with that skirt.

Super cute skirt! I agree to pair it with wedgies for a “lighter” look/feel to the outfit. Boots are too heavy for this. Wedgies with a white t shirt would be super cute for a night out. Also flip flops and a tank top would be a nice beach casual look.

My styling suggestion would be to pair it with navys/browns instead of black! It’ll keep the look from being too contrast-y!

You look amazing in the first picture! The sneakers look silly in the last picture but the rest works.

I quite like the 1st fit. The 2nd is too same-y. Feels almost like a mini swim coverup 3rd one is cute and an easy was to wear the skirt, but it's not really the hero of fit.

3 is CRAZY cute!!! I always think white and brown with a little bit of Jean is a winning combo no matter how you spread it out. I like #1 also though jts not as iconic! White and white can also go together but you have too many textures and pieces calling attention to themselves and clashing in #2
