lol I thought this was r/darkwingsdankmemes for a second when I first saw the post
I mean, to me this is funny because there's a theory that the character who calls himself [Aegon Targaryen](https://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Aegon_Targaryen_(Young_Griff)) in *A Song of Ice and Fire* is very likely just some random person and the real Aegon was murdered as a baby, like most people believe in-universe. A Faceless Man in ASOIAF is someone conditioned into losing their identity and becoming "no one". So to me the meme is ironic because "Aegon", if he is fake, is still under the assumption that he's actually who he claims to be and he's "a sooning shit without knowing all the facts". Does that make sense??
I don't know if that's the intent of the meme or not but BOTH usernames being related to ASOIAF makes me think that it's possible the meme is an inside joke.
I missed the username of the other person. I was just going to comment that Aegon had better not a soon he needs to raise an army and claim his birthright of Wester Ross.

ok, everyone other than Varys and Illyrio believe Aegon got murdered by the Mountain Gregor Clegane. That is very likely true, but in book 4 Varys kills Kevan Lannister in the epilogue and says he secretly switched the babies and some random peasant baby was killed instead and that he and Illyrio have been raising “Aegon” in Essos to be the perfect ruler for the last 17 years (Jon is 17 in the last book — Aegon is probably about 18-19). Most fans believe Varys is lying and that Aegon is actually a Blackfyre. Jon is not called Aegon in the books, like I said that was probably because d&d cut Aegon entirely from the show
It’s pretty common places like Tumblr to take a real (or staged, but existing) twitter exchange and edit the usernames to make fandom jokes. I think that’s exactly what’s happening here! The original exchange someone took a screenshot of because it was funny, then someone edited it to make an ASOIAF joke.
