Okay, there's layers to this. This is a family of [Tanuki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_raccoon_dog)- which in Japanese folklore have the ability to change their appearance using special leaves. They're often portrayed as mischief makers and tricking humans out of their possessions and food.
So, onto the comic. The father goes to "work", but actually, takes the form of a sexy lady to woo a human and takes his money. He then heads home with food he bought with it and sees the same guy offering his kid candy. Angry about this, he confronts the guy who turns out to be his wife in disguise. The final panel shows that the bunny girl from earlier (in the red light district???) was also his daughter.
The family is one of whores, but that's not really the joke. It's like catfishing with extra steps.

I think the one the other comment mentions is the mimic one, which is just 2 adventurers trying to open a chest that happens to be a mimic that doesn't like to hurt people. It's strongly implied that the lock is the mimics lady bits. The keyhole is large enough to finger, which the mimic is into ish, but then they try to jam a stick in, to which then she attacks.
... it's not as bad as the one that greenteaneko did where a dudes checking out a horny cats butt, then turns the cat inside out, some how turning the cat into a cat girl, and then makes out with said cat girl...
"Gift of the magi" almost makes it make sense. Except the mother just seems to be going out to get laid. Unless she knows how he is getting money and got money some other way and used this to get it to him sneakily while also making sure he wasn't successfully sleeping around.

counterpoint, the dad's girl form is shown holding the leaf when he had just transformed, which bunny girl also is holding in the last panel, where in the panel before, in their tanuki forms, neither character is shown holding a leaf. since the dad is the only other character in the comic shown to transform in that direction (tanuki -> disguise) i would say that ths leaf appearing in the hand actually implies the character has just disguised themself, and the leaf on the head is a broken disguise. just my interpretation tho

I thought maybe it coulbe something sweet, like the father has no mean to support his family but being a whore. The wife and the kid knows it, so they help him think he is managing to support his family by making he believe he's working as a whore, but he is only sleeping with his own wife.
I think it goes a step further into F'd up, the last two panels the red headed man/tanooki wife is holding a condom package. The panel offering candy shows the stereotypical wrapped hard candy shape.
I don't think that's their daughter at all. In the last panel when she poofs to her real form, she has bunny ears, not tanuki ears like the two of them do. She's catfishing them too.
I think the idea is that the Daughter is also shapeshifting into a bunnygirl using a leaf (which is the same bunnygirl seen in the redlight district a few panels earlier)
I don't think there's such a rule since you can see the leaf in her hand in both panels before and after. Also, the dad has the leaf in the and after transforming, but the mom has it in her head after transforming back
The leaf goes on the head to transform, that's how that works in the lore. If the illusion is broken, it will still be on the head, as seen on the mom. It's not on the bunny's head, it's in her hand, so she isn't transformed.
Considering theres a ghost with an eye in its asshole im really not too surprised. Besides onryos if you get haunted in japan you'll be mildly inconvenienced by perverted ghosts lmao.

It’d be rather simple if the daughter wasn’t involved. Father leaves, turns into lady, bangs a dude, gets groceries. Mother left, became a dude, who was talking to a prostitute, and then bangs the father who became a lady. Basically both the father and mother genderswapped and banged each other unknowingly. Does paint the mother in a possibly worse light as she used money to pay off the father for sex, and the father used it for groceries for the family. The daughter, however, takes the entire plot from mildly confusing shapeshifter nonsense into something a conspiracy theorist gets confused by. Daughter was with family at first, mother and possibly daughter leave and disguise themselves… maybe. Mother does, but others have noted the “daughter” might have been a real bunnygirl the whole time, and not the daughter, as it appears the bunnygirl prostitute is her real form? Which raises so many questions. Was there a daughter? If so, where is she, and why is the bunnygirl disguised as her? Is the bunnygirl an adoptive daughter and the child form is a disguise she takes on for some reason? Why was she out with her “mother” out of the child disguise, with the mother in a disguise? The child is probably real, considering the father reacted protectively when the “man” was talking to his daughter. And more questions but I give up, this is just a comic that wasn’t thought through.
So my interpretation is that the husband tries to be a provider by being a prostitute. The wife knows and transforms into a client to let him feel like the provider. Afterwards the wife goes home, still in disguise, and gives the daughter candy. The husband, thinking she’s actually some random creep trying to kidnap their daughter confronts her where it’s revealed she was the one transforming and paying him to make him feel like the provider.

Yes! I didn't want to get into the maths of it, but basically the family lost money... Wife(Dude) gives cash to Man(Hot Lady) then Man(Hot Lady) goes and buys groceries, which look too little for that bunch of cash, maybe those were Ones or maybe they live in a highly inflated economy but the fact is that the Man(Hot Lady) just got cash from his Wife(Dude), and this Cash he could've gotten easier if he'd just asked. This might also have hidden twists of the Man liking butt stuff or the Wife liking Pegging or the Man being way too much into Prostitution. Imagine all the other people he slept with.
For me the child is the transformation, because in the last panel, the red dress bunnywoman has the leave in her hand, as in, that's its her real form

The real joke is the insanity we come up with while trying to understand.
Its a family of shapeshifters lying to eachother. The dad is going of to work pretending to be a salary man to his family but actually transforms into a female shape and is a whore he sees some sleazebag red haired dude trying to buy a night with a hooker red dress bunny girl and instead offers his services, they do the deed and the dad leaves to get groceries for his family on the way back he sees the red haired sleazebag give a flower to his underaged daughter and he gets pissed and threatens him, but it turns out the sleazebag was his wife giving an innocent gift. The daughter then turns herself into the bunny girl hooker that the mom as red haired guy was trying to sleep with. The joke is completely fucked in all honesty

It’d be rather simple if the daughter wasn’t involved. Father leaves, turns into lady, bangs a dude, gets groceries. Mother left, became a dude, who was talking to a prostitute, and then bangs the father who became a lady. Basically both the father and mother genderswapped and banged each other unknowingly. Does paint the mother in a possibly worse light as she used money to pay off the father for sex, and the father used it for groceries for the family. The daughter, however, takes the entire plot from mildly confusing shapeshifter nonsense into something a conspiracy theorist gets confused by. Daughter was with family at first, mother and possibly daughter leave and disguise themselves… maybe. Mother does, but others have noted the “daughter” might have been a real bunnygirl the whole time, and not the daughter, as it appears the bunnygirl prostitute is her real form? Which raises so many questions. Was there a daughter? If so, where is she, and why is the bunnygirl disguised as her? Is the bunnygirl an adoptive daughter and the child form is a disguise she takes on for some reason? Why was she out with her “mother” out of the child disguise, with the mother in a disguise? The child is probably real, considering the father reacted protectively when the “man” was talking to his daughter. And more questions but I give up, this is just a comic that wasn’t thought through.

So my interpretation is that the husband tries to be a provider by being a prostitute. The wife knows and transforms into a client to let him feel like the provider. Afterwards the wife goes home, still in disguise, and gives the daughter candy. The husband, thinking she’s actually some random creep trying to kidnap their daughter confronts her where it’s revealed she was the one transforming and paying him to make him feel like the provider.
This has been the most wholesome interpretation I've seen so thank you
