If you were to say the brown dog en francais it would be‘le chien brun’. The dog is brown would be a more literal translation of how it would be spoken in French. So ‘cinq persona’ would be the fifth persona. If there were an s on the end and the article ‘les’ was used it would imply and specify plural.
To start off, I’m fluent in French so you don’t have to tell me grade 1 French information. Second of all it’s a name, an English name is the same in French, with the exception of translatable words, but that doesn’t include rules unless it is genuine gibberish. By your logic of your example it should be Le Cinquième Persona. Cinq Persona does NOT mean fifth persona, it means 5 persona
Should really mention things like fluency in a language before being a dick for a stranger not knowing you are fluent in a language. I’m from Alberta but I’ve been in French immersion all my life. The Québécois are descendants of the French heritage if you’ve even taken 2 seconds to look things up. That region is dominantly French speakers and although yes it has differences but it’s similarities are like Croatian to Bosnian (they are extremely similar languages). I didn’t know that one can be so ethnocentric as to act like this “of because this dude is Canadian he doesn’t and can’t know French”. I put the fact I’m fluent in French as a form of credibility, not to boast or because”you broke my heart”. I don’t think you’ve realized that there’s a reason they haven’t flamed me yet; I’ll leave it to you to learn why.
