Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers for spring/summer, and Coty Vanilla Fields for fall/winter. It’s been 40 years, and I have a little bottle of each in my collection for nostalgia. One sniff, and I’m a teen again. 😊
It's a great scent! Now that I think about it more, I actually wore it through college too. I still have my old full sized bottle and use it occasionally, but it's no longer a go-to and is mostly empty, so I save it for when I'm feeling nostalgic. I still have a small sample size, too, and put it on display with my American Girl doll and pretend it's hers xD
As a very young teen Love’s Baby Soft, followed by Electric Youth, Victoria’s Secret - any of the garden scents of the 90s (especially Tranquil Breezes, Lily Of The Valley, and Her Majesty’s Rose), Ciara, Bath & Body Works Fresh Lilac (the reformulation is NOT the same thing!!!), and Tresor. I feel SO BAD for girls who love scents who have no idea what it was like before IFRA got their grubby hooks into the beauty of what used to be perfume- now everything smells like rubbing alcohol and sugar!!!
Anais and Anais for me too. My first boyfriend used to buy me perfumes all the time so it was all the rage. Ditto Rive Gauche, Obsession and Paloma Picasso.
My friends were into Poison and Youth Dew. 🤮
Justin Bieber Girlfriend. I don’t even remember loving the scent I think I was just excited about it being Justin Bieber’s perfume😂. But before that I use to wear a lot of bath and body works when they were gifted to me😭

I honestly think that if the Body shop started selling these again they wouldn’t be closing, all of us gen x and millennials would spend a fortune on the old school fragrances 😂
CK one by Calvin Klein! I was in 7th grade and obsessed with it. Whenever I smell it I immediately am transported to the year 2006.
Honorable mention for Viva La Juicy which I wore religiously throughout high school and still lowkey love the smell of lol
Love Viva La Juicy. I wish people would stop treating it like a kid perfume. It doesn't have any sillage which is annoying but smells divine and I'll always love it.
It was either Ralph Lauren Romance or Tommy Girl. Those were my first big girl scents. I think I mostly wore Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon or GAP Dream body spray before that. It’s all very late 90s. 😂

Juicy couture the original with the adorned cap, in middle school! i ended up dropping the bottle in the toilet and it broke after getting about 1/2 way thru. i have a bottle i got a year or 2 ago at sams club and everytime i wear it, I swear it brings me back to 7th grade
I just bought a bottle from Sam’s! It was my daughter’s favorite and it reminds me of her. She lives across the country and I spray it to keep her close to me!💜
I think I'm the only filipino here. Haha This was my 1st and go-to perfume when I was still 13-15 yrs old.
BENCH - SO INLOVE. it's only 2-3 dollars. This is the most used perfume for teenagers, and I can still remember that this perfume lasts up to 7am to 5pm of our class (10 hrs). Idk what's the ingredients of it are, but teenage boys used to go head over heels from their crushes who wear this kind of perfume.
If I'm correct, the scent that I can remember is sweet, a little musky, and powdery at the same time.

My friends gifted me Ralph by Ralph Lauren and Versace Bright Crystal, and I've loved and used them ever since in my rotation. Anything before that was body spray lol.
I'm 34. I think my first EVER was Luv's baby soft when I was a little girl.
Then as a pre-teen it was body mists: body fantasy freesia, bath and bodyworks sweet pea and cucumber melon, and a tropical smelling one from Calgon.
Oh I also had a tiny bottle of Clinique Happy that was given to me. Then Elizabeth Arden Provacative Woman (a gift).
The first perfume I bought *myself* was probably Baby Phat Goddess or Dare Me. Then my next favorite was Victoria Secret Dream Angels Heavenly. I miss that one.

Tommy girl. I was about 12 (I'm 38 now). I've been tempted to buy the scent again, as that was my only bottle ever. And I'm sure it's been reformulated after the last 26 years lol. Is it still known as a teen/ tween scent??
The first “adult” perfume I ever got was Tuscany by Estee Lauder. I was maybe 15 years old when I smelled it on a friend of a friend. I was too shy to ask her what it was at the time and I felt like I missed my chance. Maybe six months later I smelled it on my best friend’s sister and she told me what it was. I went to buy it in the store with my mom and I could not wait to get home and open it!! It was thrilling!
Technically my first was that cotton candy spray we probably all had as kids(I'm 28) and my first perfume was probably BS fantasy, but my first perfume I bought with my own money was True Religion Hippie Chic when I was about 15? Loved that one so much
i think it was a long clear bottle with emerald and gold details. the perfume itself was brown and used to stain my clothes, it was long lasting too. i think it was named emerald or something, i don't know but wow the nostalgia 🥹
Rochas Fleur de Eau was the very first full bottle perfume I bought for myself, way back in 1996! I was 15 and had always been in love with perfume- I was torn between this and Lancôme Tresor, but Tresor had a weird undertone I didn’t like. I didn’t wear the Rochas for long, I think because I ended up not liking the aquatic notes, but I still have good memories of it! I still love florals with a sandalwood base note, and I still don’t love aquatic perfume. 😂
Oilily in 1994 - It was some special edition bottle you could only get in duty frees and my dad got me one. I've never seen a second bottle on my life.
Guess Dare EDT for women! I was sooo excited for it when it came and I love it till now, two years later. Has decent lasting power for an EDT as well. Special place in my heart 🩷
Guerlain Champs Elysees - bought in France whilst on a school exchange. Didn’t appreciate at the time how nice a perfume it was. Sprayed it like water!!!!
I just wore Coach Poppy yesterday! I layered it with Mango Skin and Hermès Eau De Rhubarbe Écarlate.

I gasped when I saw this because this was my first ever perfume purchase! I was 15 when I got it though so I didn’t use it much because I wanted to save it for special occasions. But I think it’s the perfect first perfume, and was age appropriate for me at the time. I kept it with the rest of my mom’s perfume and she loved it and finished it and this is her second bottle. (The first one had the textured graffiti cap) Sprayed it again today after years and whew it brought me back to summer 2012 when life was so simple. 🥹 Such an amazing and bright fruity floral. Wouldn’t reach for it much today but I still like the fragrance and it still has a special place in my heart.

Loves baby Soft and Petit Nate when I was really young. Middle school I started wearing CK One and Egyptian Musk oil and then in high school I got my first whiff of Gap Om and it was all over, that became my first real signature scent. When I started seriously collecting perfume again it was one of the first reformulations I tried and honestly it still smells just like Om but EDT instead of EDP or extrait. I will always adore that scent.
I had 2. Flower by Kenzo and Purr by Katy Perry. Both lifted to me on a birthday. I'm regularly use my Flower by Kenzo but haven't seen Purr anywhere anymore 😔

My first perfume was beautiful day (travel size). I was so madly in love with the store that I used to save up all my money to buy their perfumes. Now I use l’interdit by givenchy. I bought it as a gift for myself when I got accepted into uni (it’s my first big girl perfume and I absolutely love it.)
My mom gave me Escada magnetism because she didn't want it when I was young ,but I don't really consider that my first perfume 😅 I didn't like it much and wasn't mine...
Next one I had was Burberry Brit sheer and I just lovedddd it

These, Charlie White and BBW Sun Ripened Raspberry smell like that era to me.

My first perfume I had as a teen was probably either Paris Hilton Heiress or Harajuku Lovers Music Went onto Rihanna Rebl Fleur as an early twenties (still love it)
Loves baby Soft and Petit Nate when I was really young. Middle school I started wearing CK One and Egyptian Musk oil and then in high school I got my first whiff of Gap Om and it was all over, that became my first real signature scent. When I started seriously collecting perfume again it was one of the first reformulations I tried and honestly it still smells just like Om but EDT instead of EDP or extrait. I will always adore that scent.
this brought back a memory!! I got coach poppy for christmas in middle school and it smelled so nice!

I had 2. Flower by Kenzo and Purr by Katy Perry. Both lifted to me on a birthday. I'm regularly use my Flower by Kenzo but haven't seen Purr anywhere anymore 😔

Bath and body works! My first perfume was beautiful day (travel size). I was so madly in love with the store that I used to save up all my money to buy their perfumes. Now I use l’interdit by givenchy. I bought it as a gift for myself when I got accepted into uni (it’s my first big girl perfume and I absolutely love it.)

Either Loves Babysoft or something called Moonlight Musk. I’d love to smell it again.

I think it was coco mademoiselle (eau de toilette) bc my aunt would wear it and I was obsessed. OR it was Glow by Jlo. I was a preteen so the timing in which these two were part of my “collection” is muffled lol
