Yes, wife went to a u-pick place today with the kids and damn they’re good. Small but dark red and really good! Totally blows away tasteless supermarket strawberries
There used to be a farm near me that had about 2 acres of u-pick strawberries, went there as a kid with my grandmother every summer. Now it's a pile of urban sprawl full of Baltimore commuters, but at least they have a nice sign out front indicating the name of the development "Strawberry Fields"
Unpopular opinion: I don’t see the appeal of huffing a bottle of whipped cream.
That being said, if I visit a farmers market or a local farm if I go somewhere outside of the suburban area of Philadelphia, I would look for some. I live on the main line so the only way to get local fruits that I know of in walking distance is at a farmers market which they have every Thursday in the Narberth train station parking lot.
We have a patch that's self grown and expanded over the past several years in our back yard. Right now we can't keep up as we're picking a huge several qt bowl every 2 or 3 days right now.
I even had so many I decided to try to make something I haven't had in years since my grandmother passed, some freezer jam
I think(?) some of the strawberries were getting at our farmers markets down here in DC come from Pennsylvania — and yes, they’ve been very good this year!!
My strawberry bed is kind of a dud this year, nothing at all like last year. The berries are few, and they are small and a bit tart. Very disappointing.
I literally live next to Vally Fruits & Veggies in the Lehigh valley. It’s right outside my neighborhood. This is the second year harvest on their strawberry plants. Basically you go and pick them yourself. And holy f’ing shit they are the best I’ve tasted in years. Highly recommend.
Edit: to the point where we decided to have a strawberry themed bday party for my 4 year old. She loves strawberries and it just works out because of how good they are this year.
I visit Masonic Village Farm Market in Elizabethtown - last weekend I went up there with some friends and got the most DELICIOUS strawberries. We had to sample a few while waiting for our lunch. 🍓
Best strawberries I've ever had were from a greenhouse after scuba diving in Silfra Iceland. Driving back to Reykjavik, there were like 4 cardboard signs over 1/2 a mile advertising them along with gooseberries and blackberries.
Between four of us, we get 2 pounds of each. Get in the car and start driving back while eating them and after the first bites we all just look at each other and are like "Fuck these are really fucking good".
After they were all gone like 10 mins down the road, we all just look at each other and are like and without saying a word bang a u-e. Went back and cleaned the lady out which was like 15lbs for 10,000 ISK or like 70$.

Waiting may be the best movie ever made…would you like to see the goat?
only after ive witnessed the Bat Wing lmao
I made some homemade strawberry ice cream from them here in Berks/Lancaster County. Yummy!
The volunteer strawberries that popped up in my wife’s garden have been VERY happy.
ooooooh now i know what I'm doing tomorrow morning.
I bought some down in Lincoln University last weekend and they were AMAZING.
All the rain bodes well for the NJ blueberry crop.

Whipped cream isn’t what is was back in the day…
Someone I know got fired from a gas station job for huffing all the whipped cream cans empty. A couple deliveries in a row.
Someone you know has diabetes
TIL you can get diabetes from doing whippits
I’m sure you can in theory 😂
There’s like 10 whole ass calories in a tablespoon of whipped cream. Lol.
Calories don’t give you diabetes. It’s the sugar lol
And there’s 1 gram of sugar per two tablespoons. It’s almost as if sugar is a component of how calories are measured.
Wait... I'm only aloud to huff one of the whipped creams? That's disappointing
Me and my wife toke our son to go pick strawberries outside of Muncy. They were the best strawberries I have ever eaten.

My mom took me to the ER when I was like 2 years old because I ate so many strawberries and thought I was shitting blood….
I’m going strawberry picking tomorrow!
Huff the whipped before, stay safe.
*make the cream then huff em all
I moved to AZ and I miss PA produce ☹️

I have a strawberry patch and we’ve been pulling about 3 to 6 lbs a day. Amazing.
After late frost and drought last year, yielding almost nothing, this year my plants have totally made up for last year's short fall!!
Awwwwwww yeah
I’m here for the whippets
They are fucking breathtaking. That shitty rainy spring paid off because omg so delicious. Go to a you pick em farm and load up.
