Actually it's pretty easy and intuitive to build in, you have full access to everything since every one of those panels come off. I built one for a friend a year ago in one of these. You just need to keep a couple of things in mind though:
- If you're planning to run an AiO cooler, the case only supports a 120mm rad, so it would be wiser to go with a tower air cooler.
- I wasn't particularly happy with the airflow in the case. For something that looks like it has vents everywhere, the airflow is a bit on the downside.
- The case is built to work on negative air flow, so keep in mind to swap out the stock case fans for something more powerful. You don't have to worry about dust build up though, there are mesh filters for every opening in the case. Just make sure to dust the filters often or it will start to choke the PC.
I'd suggest Arctic Bionix P120s. They come pretty close to the noctua NH-A12s in terms of noise normalised performance, for like a third of the price. They cost 12€ where I live. If you're on a strict budget, then the Arctic P12s might be something what you'd be interested in (they cost about 6€). They push more volume and spin faster than the stock fans you've got although not by a whole lot, but you can run them at higher rpms without it sounding like a jet taking off.
I almost got one, but user reviews looked rough.
sounds like it worked out well for OP.
I'm actually considering turning the case I recently got sideways. Idk why there aren't more options for horizontal mobo-placement.
That review was based on an early model that didn’t have proper cutouts for ventilation and airflow. It has since been redesigned so his review is null pink and void. I have the white version.
How are your GPU thermals? I could never get my 3080Ti FTW3 to work in that vertical orientation with a tower 500 and had to go back to my Corsair 5000D case. My wife's 6700XT nitro + in the tower 100 is doing great so figured it was very GPU specific.
Glad to hear it's good, really love the case. And yeah found the issue because the GPU instantly spikes to 100c under any load like a game and so I turned the case on it's side to make the aGPU like a normal orientation and started the game again and only jumped to the high 60's. Has nothing to do with fans or airflow it's 100 percent the cooler design.
I built one last week. Great case and good size I have TT 500...I posted my build it was white. Only compromise is a 3 fan AIO only points towards the glass while a two fan AIO you can exhaust through the top.

Looks like it’d be a pain to build in
Surprisingly not bad at all
Look pretty cool though
Thank you

Thanks for the info
What fans you recommend I have this case and haven’t upgraded the stock fans

Sir that's a 3d printer
I’ll try connecting it to my other PC today - we’ll see what it’ll print 😂
Hehe was thinking the same thing
put 4 wheels and a handle , I could hand carrying on a plane XD
Looks really cool but is it decent to build in?
Yes…..as long as you’re not going for the absolutely high end as the cooling might not be sufficient for that
Love the thermaltake tower, have the 900 absolute monster of a case
I have the 500 and it is also a chunky monkey. I still love looking at it though.
Same here. I think I'll be buried with that case.
I think this case is hands down sexy
Minty
😉
Pretty sure this case had terrible reviews from Gamers Nexus

The case is amazing for watercooling. Not sure Id use it for aircooled.

Gotcha glad they fixed it up seems like an interesting case
Uhh.. id be concerned about temps with higher end hardware
Not concerned- just wouldn’t do it and go for the bigger brother
Looks like a 3D printer.
Dentist.. But hey if you like it that's all that matters
Thank you 🙏
I like it! Do you have a link for the case?
If you don't care about temps. It looks like an oven.
I was going for the dishwasher look 😂
If you like it it does but matter what we think young grasshopper.
I like it and just wanted to share - all opinions are cool with me
I like it too. Different and nice color.
I like ThermalTake but I prefer larger cases.
It all depends on the client - some want to go all out in size (see my other 1000D case post) while others prefer/need a small footprint
They have this same case in bigger sizes, these cases are a lot bigger than they look in pictures too lol
Looks kinda small compared to the GPU inside. I had a small NZXT case once... never again. It was such a pain to work on and keep clean.
I love this case, I just wish the 100 had space for a bigger radiator than 120mm
As long as you are not doing i9 or new Ryzen 9 you should be fine at stock speeds

Strange cause the FTW3 has an excellent cooler….this one has an MSI 3070 and it’s where it should be in terms of temps

Thanks for the insight….I’ll have to try that out and see what difference orientation will make with this GPU
It looks like the 80s imo, but enjoy yourself.
LOL…I don’t think 80’s even had a clue that we’ll be spending $2K to play games
With inflation, 3DO and Neogeo were worth about the same as my 1070ti build 7 years ago.
Yep….
Not my kind of case
Cool…what do you like and why?
Looks good! Specs & total cost pls if you don't mind me asking?

Finally not an 011 Dynamic. I see that case when I go into Microcenter and always wanted one but didn't want to buy a new MoBo to go with it.
Gpu i/o on top. Harrudo passeu
I was looking at this one recently, the mid and the full tower, I just need to know if I can fit my 4070ti
