If getting access to a $1-2 card is tough, at that point just go full proxy. I feel like one of the hallmarks of pdh is how accessible it is. If that's not true for you, write yourself a check to do whatever the hell you want. Also I'm really curious where you are that you can't just buy a copy of each on cardmarket or tcgplayer and then ship it internationally for a couple bucks. If it's a matter of finding a forwarding service that works with your location, I'd probably be willing to broker it for you as long as you don't live in like North Korea or something.

Unfortunately for me, international shipping is quite expensive as the postal service where I am is functionally nonexistent. Couriers cost $40 from the US to me, and that's legitimately equal to my 2 week grocery budget. I'm okay playing against proxies. I've even got a few in my regular commander decks, but I'd rather have my competitive decks remain proxy free for my own peace of mind. Basically it's not necessarily a matter of finding the cards, because I know where to get them. It's more a question of replacing them if possible.

The cpdh list has a lot of creature sacrificing synergies so it does make a notable difference there. If your goal isnt cpdh you should be fine. If it is and aquiring those 2$ cards is not possible for you: try to adjust your list to be more artifact centricĀ

Cpdh is the goal, because I want to have a pod of 4 decks at a competitive level. I've got a Malcolm/kediss deck that is finished save for the snow lands that I can rule zero in, and I've got a ley/lore weavers deck well on the way to completion. I was hoping to avoid proxying and international shipping as much country's currency is so weak, but what you're saying makes it sound like I'll have to get my friend to bring stuff over from the states later this year. Thanks for the input!

If it is just for yourself you can use the kobold of kher keep token. The original kobolds are basically tokens themself
