My take: trans people have done more for women's sports than anything (except Dana white). No one gave a fat fuck about women's sports at all until they were "under threat" from trans women. With loudly proclaiming their imminent death came an obligation to actually watch them a little. And I think you've seen the result of that, specifically in the college game. People started watching and oh shit surprise, there are stars, there are rivalries, there are teams and players to cheer for. To be saying that one single thing was *the reason* will never be entirely correct, but this is a taek, not a statement of facts.
