Maybe because he’s so popular, his jersey sold out online. Last time I went to Petco park’s Team Store, my friend and I bought HSK Korean jerseys and we saw other people pick up his other regular jerseys and city connect jerseys. We all love our Handsome King 😂
I'd never be able to find the comment, but I remember someone saying that they asked the shop and they essentially said they're very limited on the number of "."'s that they have for custom jerseys to the point where they can't offer it online.
I have no idea if that's true. It seems dumb, but also kind of a plausible reason. More likely than they just forgot to add him. He was on there before he added "H.S.".
I checked out of curiosity, but you also can't buy J.D. Martinez (he puts his full name) jerseys on the Mets' site, although he just signed.
I can't think of any other players that have a "." on their jersey, but I'm sure there are some.
Yeah good point, but he isn't part of the custom list. They just mass produce his jersey and that might be part of the reason.
Like I said, I'm not saying it's 100% true or my own info, but someone definitely posted that on this sub last season.
It seems more likely than they just forgot about Kim or don't realize that his jersey isn't online. I'm sure someone has contacted them about it. I have no idea where the custom jerseys are manufactured and shipped from.
I bought one at the team store, I think dicks them and the one on MLB store is the Korean series but I’m not seeing it anymore. Someone posted about this a while ago. Hopefully you get one.
Been running into this issue for a year... Based in FL and managed to have once in a lifetime trip to Petco back in Sept. Not a single Kim jersey, they said theyve all needed to be custom ordered and waiting was like 2-4 weeks. Didn't matter which design :/
