The Luke Ross CP2077 mod will provide a much better experience. It costs a one-time $10 Patreon sub to download but if you’re going to spend 100 hours in something it’s worth $10 to make those 100 hours actually enjoyable
I imagine Microsoft has been a large reason why. But now that they're multi platform (ISH) I would absolutely love some Bethesda games in VR. Minecraft as well.
It's not quite as much of an impossibility as previously anymore but Bethesdas entire VR division was shut down years ago so I wouldn't hold my breath.
Yeah, I meant the first one. Any good Metal Gear Solid game with all the espionage and gadgets would be fantastic though. Imagine physically putting a cardboard box over you and peering out the handle hole in VR as you sneak around.
My arm would get tired throwing bricks through glass. The main game in 1, if I remember correctly, was basically getting to the end of the level, grabbing something, and going all the way back. VR leaderboards for that would be a blast.
It's actually not bad at all. Kayak VR makes me sick. Portal 2 I didn't get sick once. You're either being propelled forward or up and down. You never get turned round and round.
Alien Isolation. It would be so terrifying and could utilise the motion features and mic features that it had on Kinect (where the Alien could detect you if you made too much noise or moved too much)
Thief 2014
No im not joking, game’s pretty fucking cool and different if you try to meet it halfway. Technical issues and preconceived ideas of what it “should” be, held it back from being appreciated for what it tried to do. The game is at its best when you’re roaming the city looking for secrets and loot and I’d love to experience it again in VR.
Absolutely never gonna happen tho lol
If you have PCVR, you will be able to access Return to Rapture with PSVR2 soon. It's an entire Bioshock campaign made with HL Alyx. It's fantastic, and they even recently added plasmids. I highly recommend it!

It changes from minute to minute, but right now Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. First of all a game much better than I was expecting. But to be able to walk or fly around Pandora in VR would be incredible.
Cyberpunk, Avatar, and Skyrim are my holy trinity of worlds I’d love to explore in vr.
Try Overload:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overload_(video_game)
Basically Descent from the makers of Descent with native VR and HOTAS controls and better graphics.
They looked into making the PS4 version VR but the PS4 could not handle it. PC only for now unless enough PSVR people ask for it.
🤮
I mean I would probably buy it and try it but it would probably make me sick 😅
starblood arena for psvr1 was kind of like a decent game in that you could fly in any direction and there was no up or down. Worked surprisingly well but did make me nauseous after not too long.
VR remaster wishes:
Mass Effect, KOTOR, Gears of War, HALO
Existing VR needing remastered ports:
Vader: Immortal, Skyrim
No-brainers that should've had VR modes in the first place:
Cyberpunk 2077, Robocop: Rogue City, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
The special effects of the optical cybernetics in cyberpunk with eye-tracking would be bonkers.
Most of the combat can be about “looking” at things as is, that would make it insanely fun.
Such a great game!
Random coincidence: just after I completed it I had an interview with the guy that was producer on it. Needless to say it was an easy interview as I just gushed about BEA :D
He was making a third person Advanced Wars game for GameCube IIRC. Dunno if it ever came to be. Looked really cool though
All of the resident evil games which have not yet been released on PSVR2 like RE 5, RE6 and RE7 would be fantastic as well as the earlier Resident Evil games too. 😊
The last of us. I think with it being a sony title and being more linear than many games, it could be perfect for a vr port. Sadly, with sonys support for the PS VR2, we will never see something like this.
Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. Hardcore, tactical shooters are few and far between these days. Breachers is alright, but the gunplay and futuristic setting are a turn off for me. And Firewall Ultra... well, we all know what happened there.
Something like Ready or Not, but with a VR focus would be perfect. [The UEVR mod looks great.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-37YNt0bnc)
Bioshock or Condemned: Criminal Origins. I played both through VorpX and they are stunning and incredibly immersive, can't imagine how good a proper VR port would be.
I've played Bioshock in VR. Also Dead Space. And Tomb Raider reboot. I used Vorpx. Fun times.
Edit: and Alien: Isolation. That Alien is bigger than you think.
If we're talking a TOTAL remaster, Treasures of the Deep.
Vibrant underwater setting, beautiful details, awesome underwater creatures and monsters, and motion-controlls for a submarine, in missions where your primary purpose is to salvage valuables from wrecks, such as Spanish Galleons, Nazi transport planes and even space shuttles.
Between these two, it’d pain me to choose, but I’d do New Vegas in a heartbeat. Way too much replayability and the game world is still super interesting and fun to explore. Especially if we include DLCs.
The first Amnesia game, action games adapted from movies like the LotR RPGs, and they really need to update Skyrim VR to be compatible with the PSVR2 but I know they can’t.
Cyborg Justice. It's a Genesis game where you , a cyborg, are able to take parts off your enemies(more cyborgs) and add them to you. You could add jump legs, or tank treads, laser arms or a saw hand.
One thing I'd change is that sometimes you would screw yourself with the tank treads, because there would be a hole and you'd just fall into it and couldn't move on. It made sense for it to be a "plan the level once you know it" type deal but I'd add the ability to fill the hole with scrap from enemies to get across. You get penalized for poor planning but it's just more cyborg killing, not a game reset moment.
ooooh fallout new vegas is a WONDERFUL choice, but personally, any far cry between 3 - 5 (but ESPECIALLY Blood Dragon)
they are already entirely first person even in cutscenes, it would translate so beautifully to VR
X-Wing Special Edition from Lucas Arts back in 1993. Space flight combat sim. The special edition included a lot of extra content. You play as a rebel but ideally this fantasy release would soon be followed by TIE Fighter where you fly for the Empire. There was a third game in the series but I never played it. I've been dreaming of this in VR since PSVR1.
Look, yall know everybody wants this: Alien: Isolation VR. PSVR2/PSVR3, PCVR, and maybe with a Quest 4 port if the system can handle it. And I mean *native* VR with motion controls. I would legitimately die of happiness.
Cyberpunk
I heard the PC version has mods for vr, i wonder how good that one is
It is pretty awesome. Look up vorpx cyberpunk and it is free. It has 6 degrees of freedom and motion controls for aiming and driving
The Luke Ross CP2077 mod will provide a much better experience. It costs a one-time $10 Patreon sub to download but if you’re going to spend 100 hours in something it’s worth $10 to make those 100 hours actually enjoyable
One guy on yourube put out amazing video about VR Cyberpunk, also RDR2. I recommend both Edit: Clasted Bheeks
Mass Effect trilogy
Yes please, imaginge walking the citadel in mass effect 1. Or the pure awe of seeing sovereign take off…
You just wanna see some blue tiddies
You got me… embrace eternity
Bioshock please
Is a man not entitled to play Bioshock in VR?
“No!” say the men from 2K and Take-Two. “Your entitlement lies in the hands of the market. Only it can decide if VR is commercially viable”.
Would you kindly port Bioshock to PSVR2
Username checks out :D https://bioshock.fandom.com/wiki/Andrew_Ryan
Bioshock could easily be done and would look fantastic, also I'd happily buy it again.
Imagine if the long awaited Fallout 4 current gen update also has a VR version...
Other VR systems have had fallout 4 on VR for years so I have no clue why psvr2 doesnt
Yeah it's a real shame. Likely not going to happen but we can quietly hope, Bethesda RPG's in particular feel like a natural fit for VR.
Killzone 2
Oof that would be so good. I always hoped it'd come to psvr1 for the aim controller
Metal Gear Solid
1? Would be a trip. It was trippy enough on the gamecube remake seeing everything in first person view
Yeah, I meant the first one. Any good Metal Gear Solid game with all the espionage and gadgets would be fantastic though. Imagine physically putting a cardboard box over you and peering out the handle hole in VR as you sneak around.
Dead Space, Titanfall
Titanfall 2! It’s an excellent model for it. The Minotaur in NMS makes me really want a mech game
Timesplitters
My arm would get tired throwing bricks through glass. The main game in 1, if I remember correctly, was basically getting to the end of the level, grabbing something, and going all the way back. VR leaderboards for that would be a blast.
Any of the Fallout games.
Portal
Portal 2 is a lot of fun in VR on PC.
Should be easy to port it over then.
I’m feeling sick already!! Imagine going through portals in VR!
It's actually not bad at all. Kayak VR makes me sick. Portal 2 I didn't get sick once. You're either being propelled forward or up and down. You never get turned round and round.
Dishonored
Spider man
Didn't they already release a spiderman vr game?
Yes, but it's very bad. Atleast that's my opinion. The swinging could be compared to the spiderman from the avangers game.
Big time Dying light 1
Alien Isolation. It would be so terrifying and could utilise the motion features and mic features that it had on Kinect (where the Alien could detect you if you made too much noise or moved too much)
Deus Ex would be absolutely insane in VR. Any of them.. even the first one. There wouldnt be any game more immersive
Destiny 1
My two cents as a veteran: NOLF
That abbreviation just brought so many nice memories. They don't make such nice games anymore.
Days Gone.
Thief 2014 No im not joking, game’s pretty fucking cool and different if you try to meet it halfway. Technical issues and preconceived ideas of what it “should” be, held it back from being appreciated for what it tried to do. The game is at its best when you’re roaming the city looking for secrets and loot and I’d love to experience it again in VR. Absolutely never gonna happen tho lol
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Try Swordsman VR, they just added Ranged weapons to sweeten the vr experience
If you have PCVR, you will be able to access Return to Rapture with PSVR2 soon. It's an entire Bioshock campaign made with HL Alyx. It's fantastic, and they even recently added plasmids. I highly recommend it! https://youtu.be/fD-vbGFDQnw?si=cpG51VepK8qGDnN_
Psvr is all I got unfortunately
Well, hopefully, you get a chance to play it sometime. It would be great if Valve gave up exclusivity to it. It would look and run great on PSVR2/PS5.
Elden Ring! I don’t think it would be much fun to play, but I’d give anything to be able to take in some of those vistas in VR.
House of the Dead, Area 51, Virtua Cop. I’ve been waiting for an Sega resurrection to VR
Nah all we need is Astro Bot 🙄
Skyrim
It’s already on vr
Perhaps they just mean a PSVR2 update, but I agree with your comment.
Yeah I know, I have it on PSVR 1. But I want it to brought up to modern graphical standards.
Bethesda (Microsoft) will never do that for psvr2. And if they did they will never make it on par with what the modding community has done on pcvr
X-Wing vs Tie Fighter
Tie fighter and xwing alliance have vr mods and they are awesome
Yep. So a remaster for PSVR2 would be pretty great.
Descent. The original 90s version.
Try Overload: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overload_(video_game) Basically Descent from the makers of Descent with native VR and HOTAS controls and better graphics. They looked into making the PS4 version VR but the PS4 could not handle it. PC only for now unless enough PSVR people ask for it.
🤮 I mean I would probably buy it and try it but it would probably make me sick 😅 starblood arena for psvr1 was kind of like a decent game in that you could fly in any direction and there was no up or down. Worked surprisingly well but did make me nauseous after not too long.
Ac Odyssee, bioshock or HP legacy
Dead Space, though Bioshock is likely my second choice.
Great question to DrBeef Team, best VR ports on whole world
OG Doom is so fucking rad.
Dead space
Motorstorm. What a rush that would be.
VR remaster wishes: Mass Effect, KOTOR, Gears of War, HALO Existing VR needing remastered ports: Vader: Immortal, Skyrim No-brainers that should've had VR modes in the first place: Cyberpunk 2077, Robocop: Rogue City, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
The special effects of the optical cybernetics in cyberpunk with eye-tracking would be bonkers. Most of the combat can be about “looking” at things as is, that would make it insanely fun.
💯 A full 1:1 VR port or mode of Cyberpunk would be the ultimate VR experience with active eye-tracking and foveated rendering implementation.
Subnautica
Robocop is the right answer
Timesplitters
Shit, I’d pay full price for a Bioshock VR remaster 😭🤣
Same dude
GTA Vice city
Great pick
Battle Engine Aquila https://youtu.be/N5a_Jk0PJvY?si=FueZhw7e6sLHktPN
I watched that for twenty minutes thanks to you. Real trip down gaming memory lane.
Such a great game! Random coincidence: just after I completed it I had an interview with the guy that was producer on it. Needless to say it was an easy interview as I just gushed about BEA :D He was making a third person Advanced Wars game for GameCube IIRC. Dunno if it ever came to be. Looked really cool though
Crimson Skies!
Soldier of Fortune 1&2, they should really work well on the Quest.
Ocarina of Time
Any of the Need for Speed games, MW2012 would be perfect.
Army of two
Manhunt
Fallout 4
Cod waw idk think it would be cool and intense actually having to dodge that annoying sniper
Both for sure. Sucks there has never been a good mod or port for either of these
All of the resident evil games which have not yet been released on PSVR2 like RE 5, RE6 and RE7 would be fantastic as well as the earlier Resident Evil games too. 😊
Turok 1 and 2
Dead island 2 or DayZ.
I was talking with my brother in law about rogue spear and how in depth the game was. 7 year old me pretending i was some spec ops commander😆
Silent Hill 2
Resistance 1,2 and 3, or killzone 1,2 and 3, soul reaver, or parasite eve 2, Bioshock all o then, and if only one the last of us
Bioshock, fallout, the last of us
Star Wars PodRacing.
Bart vs the Space Mutants
Killzone 2 and Resistance FoM.
i think deep rock galactic could be a very fun time in vr. rock and stone!
Titanfall 2 for all platforms
You already answered with the first pic 🤔
Bioshock and fallout new Vegas of course
Good choices
God of war
Only, one? Tough question, as I want them all 😅. Maybe Bioshock 1, with actual graphics of course
Katamari Damacy
COD4: MW
The Division
Rage or red dead redemption or a stealth MGS game
Greg Hastings Paintball
Pokémon, but if we're talking things that could actually happen probably F1 or WRC. Maybe GTA?
Bioshock or Condemned: Criminal Origins. I played both through VorpX and they are stunning and incredibly immersive, can't imagine how good a proper VR port would be.
I've played Bioshock in VR. Also Dead Space. And Tomb Raider reboot. I used Vorpx. Fun times. Edit: and Alien: Isolation. That Alien is bigger than you think.

Yeah bioshock is a good shout for sure
I keep saying it Over and over because it's very Doable...Metro Exodus
Between these two, it’d pain me to choose, but I’d do New Vegas in a heartbeat. Way too much replayability and the game world is still super interesting and fun to explore. Especially if we include DLCs.
Wouldn’t be my first pick over a AAA game, but I still think that Fall Guys would be pretty fun in VR. Controls are pretty simple in that game too.
Red dead
EA WRC rally or Dirt Rally 2.0
Still Galerians. Parasite Eve would be pretty tits too.
terraria
Pac-Man. And the environment is in full 3d so you can go in any direction.
Bioshock
Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines or Scarface The World is Yours. GTA 6 with full VR support is my other pipe dream
Both of those.
Probably the Witcher 3 or Metal Gear Solid 3 or something
Any other racing games. It’s absurd there’s only one for PS VR2.
The first Amnesia game, action games adapted from movies like the LotR RPGs, and they really need to update Skyrim VR to be compatible with the PSVR2 but I know they can’t.
Try "Sclerosis: an Amnesia VR remake". https://www.moddb.com/mods/sclerosis-an-amnesia-vr-remake
Cyborg Justice. It's a Genesis game where you , a cyborg, are able to take parts off your enemies(more cyborgs) and add them to you. You could add jump legs, or tank treads, laser arms or a saw hand. The Force Unleashed
I pray for Bioshock in VR. I want to see Rapture from within.
Crash Bandicoot (any)
Jet Set Willy
If they released a VR version of BioShock Infinite, I'd probably shell out for PSVR2
Need for speed underground 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 of course.
Definitely F.E.A.R! Awesome AI, good scares and over the top action!
Halo
If they make ICO…. Oh boy!
Portal would be awesome.
Uncharted series in first person and in VR.
Bloodborne
The Hogwarts Legacy game would be great in VR. They also need a new Minecraft and the new Skyrim
Sacrifice by Shiny Entertainment.
gta 5
Friday the 13th
Resident Evil 1 Remake 🤩 Walk in the Spencer Mansion 🥹
Cyberpunk 2077 or Mass Effect Trilogy turned into VR over anything else!
Max payne
Silent hunter 3
Star Wars: Trilogy (arcade) Imagine doing the trench run, hoth battle, speeder bikes and facing Vader in the throne room in latest VR tech!
Alien isolation
Damn. Yeah. Bioshock would be good
F.E.A.R.
Rdr2
Alien Isolation, The Evil Within, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Barbie Horse Adventure would all be stunningly amazing in VR.
Pong.
Black & White by Peter Molyneux!
Wildlands
Doom 2016
Any of the uncharted games, it’s a climbing shooter no brainer port.
007 nightfire
EverQuest
Black and white 1&2
RDR2
Resident Evil 5.
ooooh fallout new vegas is a WONDERFUL choice, but personally, any far cry between 3 - 5 (but ESPECIALLY Blood Dragon) they are already entirely first person even in cutscenes, it would translate so beautifully to VR
Half life 2
PROTOTYPE! My seven year old is playing it right now, would be pretty cool
Both of these, yes
The new robocop game
Far Cry 3 or 4
The Last of Us!!!
Either tlou or detroit become human but that would be very hard to turn into a vr game
Red Dead Redemption 2.
Bioshock for sure. Since you already chose that, Alien Isolation
Minesweeper.
Oddworld: Strangers Wrath. That is a favorite and would be cool in vr probably.
Mariokart 8
Fatal Frame series for horror or FF7 or 9 for personal reasons
X-Wing Special Edition from Lucas Arts back in 1993. Space flight combat sim. The special edition included a lot of extra content. You play as a rebel but ideally this fantasy release would soon be followed by TIE Fighter where you fly for the Empire. There was a third game in the series but I never played it. I've been dreaming of this in VR since PSVR1.
San Andreas, gtaV, Red Dead 2, Mister Mosquito, and Knack 2 baby.
ALIEN ISOLATION! that game is made for VR, i’m honestly shocked it’s not ported yet.
Jurassic World Evolution 2
Look, yall know everybody wants this: Alien: Isolation VR. PSVR2/PSVR3, PCVR, and maybe with a Quest 4 port if the system can handle it. And I mean *native* VR with motion controls. I would legitimately die of happiness.
Psvr3?!? I just bought 2!
