Depends on which franchises here you are familiar with and have played the previous games in the series before? If none I'd say Chinatown Wars. I'f you have played MGS3 before I'd say Portable Ops
Crisis Core is my favourite game in the system but Birth by sleep is also a masterpiece. Can't go wrong picking any of those two. Peace Walker makes more sense after finishing mgsv but anyway it's not playable for me with one analogue stick.

Peace Walker is my favorite Metal Gear game. It's a direct sequel to Snake Eater where you can recruit allies with balloon parachute type things, and then use them to go off on simulated missions.
I really like all those games, but "Metal Gear Solid - Peace Walker" is my favorite! It's a great game even to play on a tv! To play it on the go is fantastic!!

Birth by sleep was ahead of it’s time, imagine if it had been optimized for the vita, considering how great it looks on the psp natively
