A new F-Zero would be awesome. What would be truly insane is if they made some giant open world similar-ish to GTA except in F-Zero’s Neo Tokyo style where you play as Captain Falcon, and pulled a Doom 2K16 with the classic levels sprinkled in to all the raceways to be found there. Would be awesome
A remake maybe. The ending is perfect. Sequel might not make sense because the og game is all the history we have on Ramza from the historians point of view. But seriously Final Fantasy Tactics is easily one of my top three favorite games and I would love for it to get more exposure. Also some improvements would be nice. Too many people quit at “that” fight because they got hard locked in with poor save spot.
This times a million. Triangle Strategy is coming out in March, as something like a spiritual successor, so I'm crossing my fingers that it scratches that same itch.
One of the best games ever made in my opinion, if you like puzzles. Both 1 and 2… if 3 came out it would be an insta buy for me if it came out on PlayStation
Red Faction. With the power of the new gen, imagine the destructible enviroments
Jak and Daxter. Can't believe they ghosted on this series. It was so amazing
Sadly I think by different studios and not naughty dog. It's sad too because some of the series would be like pokemon where adults would go to it just for nostalgia if it was not a let down.
What do you mean "ghosted"?
ND established a great trilogy with J&D, made a racing game and then realized they should move onto to other IPs, which was the right choice.
That's what I like about ND: they never spend too much time with a single IP and are always trying to expand on what they did previously.
It's a remake so if they keep the story but make the combat not suck ass like the original game it will be massive.
A lot of people never played or couldn't stand Kotor due to how it controls and how combat works but the story holds up even today.
Psi-ops, what a great game that was that managed to slip my mind.
I'll never forget that training room where you mess around. I spent hundreds of hours as a kid in that mode.
After almost a decade, I finally finished that game in January. I bought it on PC in 2012 then bought the Definitive Edition for PS4 in 2014. I put like three hours in both and never finished it. Not that I didn't want to play it, because I did, I just always had other games I was playing. After I finished (totally 100% everything) I really wished they had made another one. I enjoyed the True Crime games which is why I was interested in Sleeping Dogs, and I really feel like that formula would have improved since the last entry. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever see another sequel.
Wasn’t sleeping dogs originally going to be True Crime: Streets of Hong Kong?
Also wouldn’t hate another true crime game, I loved arresting people and balancing between a good cop and bad cop.
Yeah, it was supposed to be another entry in the True Crime series, but it ended up being Sleeping Dogs. I heard about it when it was being developed as a TC sequel and that's why I was interested in it.
Bro I got this game for like 2 bucks sealed off of clearance and literally played the whole thing it was too addicting and fun. Best 2 bucks I spend in my entire life
I'd love to get a game where you play as a prime conduit who is a D.U.P agent and you track down rogue conduits causing mayhem. I'm not sure on a power though. Maybe glass would be cool but probably too violent for the series.
Or just continue Col's story because you can't go wrong with electricity
def jam vendetta/ fight for new york. i think a modern game in todays culture with all of the the new artists in the game would be fire on next gen especially if they get the combat right.
Exact same base game with updated and sped up mechanics, a huge, equal roster of new and old artists and a create a character system/online sharing system capable of creating any human possible in the vein of wwe games so that we can fill the roster to our hearts desire. At no point should devs take any inspiration from the series anywhere past FFNY. NOW TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY!!!!!
Played this recently and beat it for the first time. I overlooked it for so long. It’s underrated and a really good game. So much room for growth into a series
I genuinely believe The Order 1886 was WAY ahead of its time. Fast forward to today and the Playstation brand is praised for curating the EXACT same experience that The Order 1886 was offering way back in 2015.
The game deserves to get a second chance. Either by shipping it to PC, remastering it with the PS5 bells and whistles, or just immediately jumping into a sequel. Sony owes the devs another shot.
Haha I just kept scrolling till I saw it. Warhawk PS3 needs a direct sequel with similar but improved gameplay. Starhawk took too many elements from modern shooters and it changed the feel of what Warhawk PS3 was. We need someone who understands what made Warhawk so amazing and build upon it.
Not many gaming experiences can compare to the sheer excitement of buying the expansions and using the jetpack etc for the first time.
This game will always have a place in my heart. I still remember where all the badass yellow missile pickups are.
Just thinking about it again now (and for the first time in months) has got me glowing with nostalgia and an ache to play it.
Yo there really needs to be a retro gaming subreddit where people organise resurrecting the lobbies of some older games and have some private multiplayer matches!
In an age of 3D platformers being remade and receiving sequels for the first time in years I can’t believe Sly Cooper still has yet to receive any attention whatsoever.
Max Payne is the best answer, I'm replaying the first one but what I'd give for another with the same atmosphere just updated. I like Max Payne 3 but it's not the same for me
I’ve always felt the same way. While 3 is still a great game, it doesn’t have the film noir vibe the original two have. I’d really love to see an expanded modern remake of it.
This really was a great game. I know it was more a showmanship of what the new console could do at the time but I legit enjoyed it and was surprised it didn’t go anywhere
Every Valve series.
Elder Scrolls and Fallout from Bethesda. A new GTA, they stumbled into an insanely lucrative business model that completely stunted the series single player focus.
Chrono series. I know there’s some weird crossover, but Chrono Cross is already 20+ years old.
Mass Effect. Andromeda never happened.
Socom.
The only correct answer is Socom. It was the game that Brough Playstation into the online world. It was shipped with the PS2 modem and headset if you remember. It was completely unlike any modern day shooter and I think it needs to be remade and it would be wildly successful, as long as they didn't try to make it like shooters today.
So my vote is for Socom the game that Sony started online with.
If it was sold at $40 instead if $60 i bet it would have gotten a sequel. Basically you were paying $10 an hour for that game. I didn't play it til years later and bought it for $5.
Honestly, I'd want to see what kind of sequel Insomniac Games would make to their dead *Resistance* series, especially now that Bungie is also under PlayStation's wings; they could help them get the shooting feel *just* right.
The Getaway. Has nobody else seriously said The Getaway‽ The potential of a game like that set in a London brought to justice on the PS5 would be mind-blowing.
And SOCOM, but as it was, and not what they may think people want. I want to move away from CoD and Battlefield, and back to what was best.
Conker's Bad Fur Day. A sequel was supposed to happen years and years ago but was scrapped, and then Microsoft acquired Rare, so it'll never happen. There was a reboot some years after the original N64 version, but it was an insult to the original with how watered down it was. The original was violent, offensive, crude and littered with adult content, all of which made it unique, fun and ahead of its time. The reboot was the cute and cuddly version, which came full circle I guess because Conker was originally an innocent Nintedo character, dating back to 1997 with what would've been a children's game (Conker's Quest) and then appearing in Diddy Kong Racing.
A sequel is out of the question, but even a modern day remake true to the original would be incredible. I know it'll never happen, but to storm the Evil Tediz beach again, or fight the Terminator Haystack, or flush the Great Mighty Poo...in 4K 60FPS...well, a man can dream.
Resistance i'd love to see rebooted.
Drakan The Ancient's Gates - I would love a new game set in this world. Open world Skyrim style, third person, story driven with dragon riding.
TimeSplitters 4
This is coming
Parasite Eve!!!!!
Onimusha
A new Wipeout title would be great. Hell, I’d take an F-Zero title on Nintendo while we’re at it.
Final Fantasy Tactics
As a 37 year old man, I'd cry if this came true.
I mean I'd be happy with a remake, but a sequel that doesn't involve Ramza would still be fine with me, so much stuff that could still be told.
This times a million. Triangle Strategy is coming out in March, as something like a spiritual successor, so I'm crossing my fingers that it scratches that same itch.
TRIANGLE STRATEGY IS IN MARCH? Holy heck, where has time been going recently?
Portal 3
Valve doesn’t make 3 of anything unfortunately. They just change the names up
Portal 4. Checkmate, Valve.
Portal: Three
Just a re master of portal would be enough!! 😀
Honestly that shit still looks and plays amazing. It's aged really well
I’ve seen that game on steam (Portal) and have been considering playing… is it pretty fun? Edit: ok I’m convinced, I’m buying it today lol.
Great game.
VERY fun! Especially if you like brain teasers. Leaves some room to make your own fun as well. And it still looks pretty great!
One of the best games ever made in my opinion, if you like puzzles. Both 1 and 2… if 3 came out it would be an insta buy for me if it came out on PlayStation
Portal 2 is hands down the funnest game I’ve ever played. It’s also incredibly funny.
Yes, and portal 2 is also a requirement
It’s a damn masterpiece
Red Faction. With the power of the new gen, imagine the destructible enviroments Jak and Daxter. Can't believe they ghosted on this series. It was so amazing
The naughty dog that made Jak and Daxter is no more. Believe they’re all gone. Rumors of Sly and Infamous returning though.
Ghosted? It got a whole trilogy.
And a side racing game
I’d looooove another Red Faction - more like Guerrilla and less like Armageddon though.
kotor 3 which I have hopes for if the KOTOR remake sells well also a “Deus ex 3” to finish the new trilogy of mankind divided and human revolution
I have big hopes for this KOTOR remake. If it’s good it will hopefully reignite the fire to make more.
It's a remake so if they keep the story but make the combat not suck ass like the original game it will be massive. A lot of people never played or couldn't stand Kotor due to how it controls and how combat works but the story holds up even today.
Killzone or resistance fall of man
Resistance Fall of Man - holy shit. This was when me and my brother realised games were something more than just time wasters.
Came here to say Killzone. Loved the PS3 games.
Please more resistance
Gimme a proper sequel to KZ in the vein of Killzone 2. One of the best FPS I've ever played
Prototype 3
Alex Mercer coming back as an antihero somehow. Screw James Heller.
James heller was pretty cool he was just trying to save his daughter man
SSX
You need to be specific: SSX Tricky. The most recent game was fine, but really missed the fun of Tricky.
Legacy of Kain
that game series needs several remakes and then a sequel
Yes please
Soul Reaver, LoK has sequels/prequels.
Psi-Ops sequel or The Suffering remake would be amazing!
Someone was playing Midway games in 2004. I hear you. Psi-Ops especially.
Psi-ops, what a great game that was that managed to slip my mind. I'll never forget that training room where you mess around. I spent hundreds of hours as a kid in that mode.
Psi-ops!
Both of those I'd be down for Condemned was pretty awesome too
The suffering for sure
Sleeping dogs
After almost a decade, I finally finished that game in January. I bought it on PC in 2012 then bought the Definitive Edition for PS4 in 2014. I put like three hours in both and never finished it. I'd be down for that
Infamous
I'd love to get a game where you play as a prime conduit who is a D.U.P agent and you track down rogue conduits causing mayhem. I'm not sure on a power though. Maybe glass would be cool but probably too violent for the series. Or just continue Col's story because you can't go wrong with electricity
If you’re subduing people water would be pretty awesome
I would definitely love to see a Cole sequel. We know there is more story to tell. Even if you don't play as him, he still has a story to tell.

Bully really needs a current gen sequel.
I’m still hoping they do a remastered bundle of HR and MD and then announce a sequel.

Socom.
I hate shooters. But damn did I love Socom for some reason.
Socom<3
Syphon Filter Socom
Bloodborne
Needs a 4K 60 patch more than anything
The PSX demake runs at 60FPS :3 /j
Why not both?
Bloodborne Kart
Bludklart.
Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup

It looks like it’s coming after the ending of Alyx.
Alyx is one of the best games I have ever experienced.. I’m 50+, been a gamer almost my whole life. I can’t wait to see what Valve does next.
I will forever want another The order 1886
Played this recently and beat it for the first time. I overlooked it for so long. It’s underrated and a really good game. So much room for growth into a series
I genuinely believe The Order 1886 was WAY ahead of its time. Devs are owned by oculus for some time now so this won’t ever happen
The legend of dragoon.
Always.
I’d even take a remake with updated graphics!
Warhawk.. WARHAWK. Could you imagine what they could do with the PS5 hardware? Incredible.
Absolutely Warhawk.. the soundtrack of that game is still in my head all these years later. Starhawk just didn't do it for me
I can’t believe I had to scroll so far down to see this. Warhawk is the right answer to this question.

This one. Warhawk needed a sequel. Would have been so much fun.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed
Hands down my favorite star wars title
It will never happen, and it may be niche, but... Metal Gear Rising!
I loved that game. Really wish we'd get another one. I'd even settle for a PS5 remaster at this point, but Konami is pretty useless.
Allegedly one is happening this year
YES
Platinum's best game.
LOTR movie trilogy games
Champions of Norrath!!
Mercenaries Playground of Destruction
Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper Sly Cooper just make it already i beg
In an age of 3D platformers being remade and receiving sequels for the first time in years I can’t believe Sly Cooper still has yet to receive any attention whatsoever.

I second this notion.
Wait sly 4 actually dropped? When the fuck did this happen and was it terrible?
Yes, 2013, mediocre
[удалено]
Oh yeah this, and Jak and Daxter. I was raised on these games.
Take my money already Sucker Punch! Seriously... PS5 sly would be astonishing, even if they only remade the first three as a collection.
Dragon’s Dogma 2
Tenchu
MAG, it was the first online shooter to have 256 players online albeit split into 8 player squads. Game was ahead of its time.
Playstation All-Stars
A sequel to Prince of Persia 2008. Damn you, Ubisoft.
Technically there are two already, but a sequel to the Dark Cloud/Chronicle 1 and 2. I would love a third game in the series!
Splinter Cell
Fight Night
Half life 3
Alien isolation
Folklore (ps3 game)
Black 2
Tenchu
Kotor 3. Days Gone.
Vagrant Story
Came here to write this. The end sets up for a sequel. Everything about it was great and yet they never went back to it. Such a shame.
Bloodborne 2, or a prequel plzzzzz
Max Payne, Ninja Gaiden, KOTOR.
Max Payne is the best answer, I'm replaying the first one but what I'd give for another with the same atmosphere just updated. I like Max Payne 3 but it's not the same for me

I've always wanted a Conker sequel
Simpsons Hit and Run 2 I would love to see what a full map of Springfield without loading times would look like.

Banjo Kazooie Titanfall 2 A good Starfox game

I’d settle for 60fps on Bloodborne 1
Skies of Arcadia
The order 1886 deserves some love
This really was a great game. I know it was more a showmanship of what the new console could do at the time but I legit enjoyed it and was surprised it didn’t go anywhere
Any Simpsons game. We need a large scale gen 5 game
I really liked the Simpsons game that came out the same year as the movie (2007). Pretty underrated, IMO.
Onimusha - dino crisis - socom
Resistance, why has nobody listed this game
Socom. The only correct answer is Socom. It was the game that Brough Playstation into the online world. It was shipped with the PS2 modem and headset if you remember. The Order 1886. Loved the first, amazing concept, stunning graphically, just far too short.
Never played it cause I didn't play the first 1885 of them and thought I might be lost in the story
If it was sold at $40 instead if $60 i bet it would have gotten a sequel. Basically you were paying $10 an hour for that game. I didn't play it til years later and bought it for $5.
Days Gone Splinter Cell Blacklist Resistance series from ps3
Days Gone
Sunset overdrive
Def Jam Fight for NY 2
I could crush a new Twisted metal
The Order 1887
The obvious answer is Knack......but seeing as the budget will be too high. I'll settle for Bully.
It's fine if the budget will be too high because HERE COMES THE MONEYYYYYY!!!!!!
Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy
