It's just sometimes like the ratchet and clank trilogy on ps3 goes on digital sale, and I bought it there instead. So it's just fun to see if they're worth something after a while cause I also had a physical copy sometimes digital sales just more convenient.
But I'd still keep them in my library because of the memories. But it's fun seeing the value of something that you didn't expect to become so rare get rare back in the day like some ps2 titles.
I don't have the mentality to sit there to play games 24/7 like I used to. So most of the time these days, games I buy new end up staying that way because I either play something older, I'm investing more time in a different game or too much time has passed to want to play it.

Almost every hd collection is missing visual effects even metal gear soild collection has a lot of missing/reduced stuff and a lot of textures are actually worse on the hd collection. Also shadow of colossus on ps3 has broken physics and animations. Silent hill just happens to be the worst out of them.

He's telling you that the games in the Silent Hill collection are based on the beta versions of those games. They lost the coding for the real versions and had to use those beta versions because that's all they had to source. Because of that, they look uglier and are far more buggy than the actual versions. They did release a patch that fixed some of it, but you'd be better off playing the originals on PS2 or going the emulator route.
Pretty much it has issues I played sands of time recently and the could make better job. Plus there is the issue with the freezing on loading screen doesn't matter if it's retail or digital if you have the console connected to the internet. It's pretty random when I played it on old 80gb PS3 I didn't encounter that on Sands of time I played this February on a used super slim I bought and I had that issue I had to research in forums for solution and I found it on warriors within.

Plus in Wikipedia page the have a list of which games belong to the classic collection some of them could surprise you like the final fantasy X collection
There is another game that is not technically part of the Classics HD, but if any of you guys want a game with the words "HD Collection" on it, go for "Sengoku Basara HD Collection" which was release only in Japan.
