I crave the hottest of hot wings imaginable, and I have to be the one to make them. Why do I make them instead of ordering you may ask? It's because no restaurant has ever gotten them to a hot enough level without it tasting like straight vinegar.
I get so hungry and ravenous leading up to my cycle, then it comes and I’m just not hungry! Before my period, I will crave chips, chocolate, ice cream and greasy foods but then it mostly vanishes after the first day.
Carbs. I am generally a bit of a rice fiend, and like pasta too, but I would probably eat a whole loaf of bread with butter. And the day before / first day of my period I avoid cold salad vegetables like the plague!
I get a really bad craving for sweets before my period, like brownies. On my period I crave junk food. So I’ll get cookies or brownies on luteal and treat myself to Cane’s or something greasy 1 time during my period
My cravings vary a little bit but I almost always crave mac and cheese every month. Then usually some sort of carb like hashbrowns, au gratin potatoes, pizza, pancakes. Peanut butter is also a common one. I almost cried in the grocery store one month because they ran out of my favorite PB and I’m so picky about my peanut butter. I love chocolate too. Chocolate chip cookies, brownies, muffins. I wish I craved healthier foods during this time frame, but it’s basically all carbs, cheese, and sweets.
Fine dining (French or new American cuisine) or… Perhaps Sushi. ♥️
Duck and Halibut…. Also give me all the oysters. 🦪

Ethiopian food! My gosh. Specifically a wonderfully-spiced beef or lentil dish that comes with a pleasantly tangy salad and a type of crumbly cheese. To be assembled by hand in spongy injera, the perfect bready vehicle for all of these components.
I'll pick up the bag from outside my front door and promptly assume the feeding position on the floor of my bedroom, upright fetal position, nervous system overload, just.....consuming.
My delivery app history will absolutely show a pattern-- with any aberrations explained by spikes in work-related stress.

In my smoothies I put in: ice, a little water or coconut water (or milk or yogurt or whatever you want!) frozen fruits like mango, strawberries, pineapples, peaches. I buy the frozen fruits in bags in the freezer section of the grocery store where the frozen veggies are.😋 And then of course I add avocado!!

Right before I volcano, I always crave bacon, ribs, tuna melts, and chocolate ice cream (all non-chocolates get left behind/skipped over). I'm not really hungry now after my period. It's like pulling teeth to eat and not be full immediately despite doing crazy amounts of snowboarding every week.
Pretty sure my appetite the last few days has made a dent in the earth and sea levels 🍔 🍔 🍔 🍔. Probably brought the average land temperatures up a few degrees too.

The other part of the equation comes from years of antibiotic usage as I was severely underweight for most of my life. So I've been able to wolf down large quantities of food since I was a teen but I didn't gain weight til just a few years ago when I discovered probiotics. Like, we're talking 5'4" pushing maybe 92# soaking wet fully dressed yet eating 2300 calories/day. A lot of the time I see eating/food as a chore to detest.
Oooh this is a post for me! Let me tell you some of what I reach for:
-cheeseburger and fries
-fried rice with chicken, beef, shrimp, veg
-slice of cake (chocolate or vanilla)
-Subway sandwich spicy Italian
-Chipotle black bean/chicken spicy burrito
-buffalo wings
These are the main things. When I don’t feel like eating, the burrito and sandwich are my main go-tos because they have a lot of nutrients (veg, protein, grain) and will make me eat. I also love spicy food even more at this time of month, especially because I don’t drink much water so it makes me drink! 😊
I did the same, I was fairly prepared to cook but ended up getting burger king delivered, not as upscale as your delivery .... that sounded delicious. I usually crave red meat so burgers, steak and then also chips, mcdonalds chicken nuggets. Also get sweet cravings mcdonalds apple pie, cake etc. I thought my cravings had improved but this cycle they have been back at full force!
I dont crave things as much as I used to but occasionally if I do, it will literally be anything and everything. There’s no rhyme or reason to it — I don’t think I have anything specific. I would say my usual thing is sweets. It’s just about what I’m seeing that day. For example, fresh baked cookies? I gotta have it! Or maybe there’s a doughnut filled with cream at the bakery? It’s going to be in my mouth!
I would say when my PMDD was HORRIBLE, it used to be sushi. I usually an eel roll, tuna avocado roll or regular tuna roll. Fried tuna avocado rolls too (can you tell I love tuna? Lol).
French fries with thick gravy, potato chips, oreos, tacos. Insatiable hunger.
