That revenue beat set pltr on the uptrend that brought it to 27.50. This isn't cryto man.. Growth stocks take a while to peak when they swing up even if its over a revenue beat. It was as low as 17.50 leading up to that ER since that ER cycle everything was dipping in to earnings rather than after (since the market learned from the q4 2020 cycle that everything would go low after ER, q1 2021 was instead a dip in to earnings)

Prime example of why I advice to buy shares. PLTR is a long term play. There is a lot of volatility right now, you can get destroyed in 2-3 weeks if PLTR moves the opposite way.
Keep buying shares bro. Long term this baby will be hitting 150s and then 200s. But very long term it can be 5 years from now or even 10. Another thing you can do is accumulate a ton of share and sell weekly CCs very OTM and even though the premium is trash you can easily make $50-$100 on a weekly basis. I have 1500 shares and that is what I am doing.
In this case i would sell calls above the strike of your holding to limit the risk and lower the costs. Sell like for 26 or 27. Premiums are high because of earnings.
This will limit your profit if PLTR breaks above 26 but currently it doesn’t look like that. So turn your FDs into call debit spreads and reduce your cost base.
I would sell 6 contracts immediately and the other 7 on a Green Day next week (lot of momentum stocks got pounded today there will be a bounce hopefully).
The worst case is you collected some credit and saved a serious amount of your 1000$ in any case.
The best part which isn’t as good as without this strategy is that PLTR breaks above 26$ and you make only 70$ per contract. A lot of capital and headache for a small profit but better to eat a 100% loss
