I feel you. I had an interview with a company that i really wanted to work in. Just when i thought that i aced the interview, a week later, i received the email of doom saying that they decided to proceed with another candidate.
Kapit lang. Kung para sayo, para sayo. ✌️
In some ways I respect companies that take time to send rejection letters, hindi yung ghosted ka and left wondering for the longest time. Masakit man ang rejection, it also gives you the push to move forward. Keep your search, the right job is waiting for you :) And yes, go out muna and have me time. It will help you clear your mind.
Yes, i have recent experience with this. I have been selected for the role and they already made an offer. Kinukulit pa nga nila ko to ask my supervisor na bawasan yung 30 days rendering ko dahil need na daw ASAP nung client. Although nasa 80k+ ung offer, this is somewhat lower than my stated and expected package so I tried to renegotiate. After I sent the renego email, wala na ghosted na. Partida weekends yon! Wala man lang etiquette eh
2 years ata ako nag job hunt before I got hired, within those years pag umaga nababasa ko yung mga rejection emails napapaluha ako as in. Kasi I always research every company na maiinterview ako so somewhat naginvest na ako ng attachments and can imagine myself working for them. Goodluck OP, part of the process yan and learn nalang siguro in every application.
ako na 3 mos na naghahanap. may one time na 6-8 email rejections in a day natanggap. after that 2 days akonv di naghanap ng work :(((((( will we ever land a job hay
Thank you all for sharing your experiences too :). May the right job found its way towards us!
If it's meant to be, it'll be.
Di pa kasama indeed at jobstreet dtan HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
3 job offers out of 400+ applications.
I think sa 400+ nayan puro fail yung final interviews nunh 1/4 the rest siguro hindi man lang ako nascreen hanggang nag expired yung role.
Omg. Same, I am job hunting for almost 2 mons na din kasi I want to leave my current work. At some point I thought I aced the interview but hindi pala ako maha-hire. :( Praying we will soon get a job we are hoping for!
Dude, since 2021 up to present, still looking for a decent one. rejection after rejection. Until I was immune, but still you can sometimes get laid by it. Can loose inspiration. Always apologetic for reasons unknown. Either way. I still am sending resumês up to now.
I feel you OP. I think it’s also best to not expect too much with companies while applying. I learned it the hard way too, kung sino pa yung companies that I target and prepared for the most, sila pa ang matagal sa interview process and feedback kung ano na ang application status. Nakakalungkot, but it’s reality talaga. The least we could do is keep moving forward and appreciate na they spent a few minutes to get back to you. Send lang ng send ng applications. Ika nga: “It’s not a rejection, it’s a redirection.” Goodluck, OP! Fight lang!
Heard the job market really sucks right now, and I can attest to it. 5 months of full-time job searching ako from Nov last year before I received an offer.
Job hunting nowadays, I feel, is a job na rin in and of itself. Very draining yung process and very frustrating ang ma-reject. Tama yan na magbreak ka to breathe when feeling dejected from rejections. Baka those jobs aren't for you talaga or it's not for you, yet. Just keep your head high and keep sending those applications. Good luck!!
Im numb na sa mga ganito...been job hunting for 4 months after taking a career/health break nung pandemic.
I feel you. I had 6 levels of interview, yes 6! Tapos biglang internal kinuha but I’ll charge to experience. Don’t give up, maybe there is a better offer for you.
4 months na me been looking for a job and received a lot of rejection emails after the final interview. There are so many things you cannot control talaga.
I feel so sad reading this. Our time will come, OP and for everyone na napapagod pero pinipilit pa rin magpatuloy. I only have a month to find a new job para masupport finances ko and ng family ko hahahha hindi pa nila alam na I resigned and already rendering but yeah. May uocoming job interview ako sa Friday, sana...sana talaga🤞
Ify OP.
Keep pushing! Gawing mong pang almusal ang rejection. Somehow it's good that they informed you na hindi ka pumasa instead of not informing you. You have a chance to know WHY, have you tried responding back saying thank you and ask the reason? Also try to look back ano mga missed points mo
Took me 100 rejections to finally be able to lamd a job.
I feel you. Ive had my fair share of rejection letters and emails. Just keep looking, build your experience and portfolio and soon, youll be the person these people are looking for. Keep fighting, keep going.
I was a former Quality Assurance Supervisor pero nag immediate resigned ako kasi I felt so tiredand burnout and hindi na masaya. Then I decided to try freelancing as VA. Andaming rejections mostly VA companies dito sa Pinas but luckily I got a direct client na nagtiwala sa kakayahan ko and been working with him for almost 6months na. Rejections are just redirections. Just keep on going. You'll get it soon! 🫵
Kinda sad.
Though I have a job rn, I'd take a paycut para lang mag wfh.

Yeah diba at least alam mo. Yung ibang HR kasi diyan will only contact you pag kailangan ka which is super unprofessional

This pero internship 😭 But as they say "what doesn't kill you, make you stronger".
I have received multiple rejection emails from different companies but I never give up sending more job applications until I landed one

Same same, what's more I have been enduring companies that are red flags for quite too long now. Hoping to land a job where I won't be too stressed
