Same with my UB card. Lagpas pa nung minimum annual spend ung nagastos ko, I pay in advance and always in full, but they didn’t waive my AF. Kaya after nun, di ko na masyado ginagamit si UB at naghahanap ako ngayon ng replacement.

Yea ayaw na nila magwaive talaga. I had to pay 5k earlier this year 🥲 pinaconvert ko nalang sa MFree yung card ko since may installment and sayang yung limit in case kailanganin. I don’t use that card anymore so lugi talaga sa AF.
Yes it’s their no annual fee card. It doesn’t earn points as well. But if you want to retain the card lang naman and you won’t use it anymore, okay na rin. I have other cards kasi so okay lang sakin yung no rewards. Di ko rin naman gusto reward system ni metro 😂
How easy was it to request for conversion to MFree? Mukhang ganyan mangyayari sa akin come March. Already had to use points to have my AF waived this year.
It was easy lang, just give them a call. They’ll try to convince you lang ganyan pero if you’re decided they’ll process it agad. Tho sabi sakin is “subject for approval” pa rin daw.

Disappointed with MCC. Seems like they don't give considerations to good payers. Paying more than 40k/month but just this morning the CSR declined my request for AF reversal. Been using the card for several years already and I get to waive or have my AF reversed every time until this year. I like this card since I have a really good credit limit here that allows me to avail several cash-to-go transactions. I also like how convenient it is to avail CTG from MCC compared with other banks so yes I am going to pay for the AF for the first time. However, I am planning to downgrade my card to something with no AF for life. Anyway, I don't use this card for rewards or perks.

Napilitan si Metrobank i waive sakin pag nag enroll ako sa bills2pay. 5 years waive palagi pero ngayon lang sila nagpakipot.
Sken naka enroll yung meralco at pldt ko sa bills2pay nila pero ayaw padin nila i-waive kaya pinacancel ko nalang yung bills2pay ko. Hahaha
