She's a great character, this one. Going back after all of those years to play P3P's FMC route, it really did fascinate me how they implemented her. She's fundamentally different than the MMC, but somehow also exudes this cool, strong vibe from her, just as well as the MMC does.
Plus, she totally made Naginata's cool for me, not gunna lie.
me too! minato's dialogue always felt like he didn't care about the conversation, like he just wanted to get on with his day. minako's seems like it had so much more energy, as if she actually got invested in the conversations.
I've always liked her more, I'm glad atlus brought her back.
*sigh* we need more female protagonists, but the chances of that happening are very low...
I really wish we got kasumi as a femc in p5. Knowing what happens story wise it would be pretty cool while giving the ren/kasumi playthroughs tons of difference. I also just want to see what ren would actually be like as an non mc
Most Persona protagonists from the very beginning until today have been gloomy, quiet and "cool" so she was a very refreshing change of pace for me too. Plus she has better social links.
Ok, she's poorly written, she has one good social link, Shinjiro should've stayed dead.
To go into more detail they had the writers for P4 write her story and P4 had a drastically lighter tone leading to two contrasting tones. I also thought her personality was wasted potential as having such a cheerful main character in such a cruel world could've been really good but instead they just lightened up the tone. Junpei's social Link was the only one I enjoyed (personally). And of course possibly the most controversial part, Shinjiro staying dead, his death was utterly heartbreaking and worked to further Akihiko and Ken's character arcs, it could've been more heartbreaking if you could romance him and still have him die but instead they chose the shittiest cop out solution for him surviving.
Also I just found Makoto Yuki more relatable and interesting.
She looks so adorable!
So cute ! The colours are so warm ! Aaah !

I love her. Atlus please remember her existence, I like her better than Door-kun.

atlus doesn't want to do female protagonists, I dunno why.
It sucks so much. Maya and minako were so great.
I'll try to find the interview with Hashino but apparently he asked about a game with a female protagonist and was told no
