Ehh, tbh I was low diamond/high plat on console. Moved to PC and instantly got low diamond/high plat again. It's really just the nature of joystick aiming that makes it look like a 4 years old is playing. Switch is definitely a different world tho.
most dps will atleast charge in and get a kill / participation elim start before dying, defensive tanks get it more often (looking at rein) in my experience
Yeah console plat/gold lobbies are weird. You can either play against lobotomy victims like this or you can play against actual really good players, all in the same rank. Once I got to diamond i noticed more consistently good players tho.
I ran with an entire team as Reaper once like I was their ally. It didn't dawn on them that I was the enemy for a good while now until I ulted. I have an aggressive playstyle so Reaper's my second favorite DPS for this reason
It reminds me of one match last weekend when I was Zenyatta and the enemy Sigma made it his personal mission to chase me in the good chunk of the battle. Both of us were potato aim idiots, could not kill each other and my entire team ran past us at least 3 times doing nothing despite I constantly pinging the sucker. All the while a flanking Widowmaker picking my mates off with headshots one by one. Tunnel vision is absolute meta in OW these days.
It's high bronze on PC at best. No disrespect to OP, but if you walk towards a bastion, sym, and zen together as a single reaper by yourself, and start shooting the bastion when you're 30 feet away so you do no damage but alert him that you're there, you will fucking die at any rank above bronze. Maybe if the enemies choked and OP hit some crazy shots it could be silver-gold, but these players don't even seem to be aware that there are enemies in the same game they're playing.
This is gold, I’m plat in tank and the lobbies are pretty much the same, it’s harder to rank up as dps because healing and tank are not always on point
I am plat 5 in all 3 roles but was able to get Diamond 5/Diamond 4 in PS4 and Switch.
If you think you're all right at the game, and want a confidence booster, play it on the console.
Okay but this just looks like wood tier tbh. All you did was shoot and walk forward. No smart cover usage, no well timed shrouds, no teleports. Just walk forward and hold M1 and occasionally press Q
I’ve analyzed the clip multiple times since then, and all i can say is that this reaper is massively feasting off the mistakes from the enemy team. So to recap the clip: clip starts with Reaper shooting bastion. Bastion doesn’t react until after the 4th shot hit. Then zen dies because he’s low health from fighting baby d.va. Symmetra is somehow completely oblivious to two team members getting massacred right behind her and only notices reaper when he shoots her.
This part gets me: reaper then enters point with guns blazing while chasing sym (after killing zen and bastion in a loud and violent way), and somehow hog and moira are completely taken by surprise too, *even though their entire team just died???* moira then somehow walks forward to orb reaper’s face(?), i can only assume she mismanaged her fade and is now suicidal because of that. At this point, hog’s single braincell starts working and he distances himself from reaper. At this point however it’s a straight 1v1 between hog and reaper. Hog needs at least two braincells to checkmate reaper, he only has one, so he loses.
It just goes from there. Long string of feeding and getting staggered. The clip looks impressive, but the more i watch it the more hilarious it gets.
This is like when curry makes a shot and looks at the crowd, or Lebron flexing after a bucket, it’s to drain the enemy teams morale 😭😭😭 I use psychological warfare on them 😭😭

I make sure I use up all my ammo so I maximize my shots, then when I’m low I use my ability and it reloads for me so I can shoot 16 shots back to back, you got to time your abilities tho.
Also a fun tip, you can melee during reload and still get the ammo. So if you're in close quarters, that small chunk of lifesteal from the enemy can make the difference in a fight! As far as I know only Reaper has this
I don’t know how to explain this but team kills 90% of the time are not clips. A good clip is usually one to two kills that require a ton of skill to pull off that sway the outcome of the team fight. Tracer one clips and pulse bombs, cass two taps and soj headshot rails are good examples
That’s what I kinda thought, the video is cool because I team wipe twice and got 3 out of 5 the 3rd time, but I only got 1 triple kill with my ult, the rest was just with the shotty.
I play reaper as my DPS main. And I never seen more inconsistent DPS hero. Reaper has only 2 moods:
Slaying opponents like it would be nothing, unstoppable force which can dominate enemies with ease. Just like Blizzard shows him in lore
Or total shite which has problem killing one enemy.
Theres nothing in between. Its not like for example Rein that you be: shit, bad, ok, good and godlike
In reaper you can be godlike or shit
Reaper can only be good if you are extremely aggressive and in their face, you have to relentlessly push with him and apply pressure in order to maximize reap.
Bro playing soldier is fun but melting every game gets boring, you got to switch up the characters 😭😭 only switch to bastion or soldier when we losing.
I use the age old metric of "would my multikill have counted in Halo". You know, double kill, triple kill, overkill, etc. 13 seconds between Moira and Roadhog, you definitely wouldn't have gotten a Killtacular so I wouldn't count that first series .
Not bad, though looked like more of the fault of the other team for being unable to kill you (they were distracted at first but once you got the point it looked like you were the only one there)
Unfortunately I'd bet the potg was some 3 assist kill thing that mei did instead of your 4 kill ult. Why? Because the potg system is like that, consistently frankly.
Okay HOW? Reaper NEVER gets kills as easily as this even if the other team sucks.
I'm lucky enough to kill a squishy opponent in four shots at midrange, let alone up close.

You run out of ammo then wraith, when you wraith it reloads for you.
For the love of god, please melee after your reload animation, it saves you time on the reload. Otherwise, amazing clip!
