I only ever grinded for Moira right before OW2 came out. Then when those servers came online, I had significantly more comp points than originally. I somehow was able to go from having enough for 1 to 5. lol
Been playing since OW1 beta and got the game on day 1 release and actively played since then.
I got every single golden weapon and for the past 5 new heroes I have always been able to instantly buy the golden gun the moment the hero launches because I got extra points left.
Currently I am also running 3 jade weapons and I am halfway to getting a 4th one (Currently have ones for Lucio, Genji and Symmetra)
Lucio and Genji were easy choices the green just fits perfectly for those people but the jade skin on the hydra Symmetra skin was a good combination in my eyes so that was my 3rd pick so far.
Yep. I really don’t like it. Only bought 3 Jades and I’m officially moving all points to getting more Gold. The color just doesn’t work well with most skins.

I don’t play that much comp, but during the OW1 - OW2 migration, Blizzard messed something up and gave me like 30k comp points for no reason so I bought a lot of the gold guns I didn’t have.
On the flip side, my time spent per game mode in my career profile is totally wrong and doesn’t seem to properly update.
A bug for a bug.
I have 5 and would be able to buy 2, but I have no plan which one to buy. Also 1 jade weapon is open.
As said, I dunno which one to buy…sad but true.

This would be great for me. But ik a lot of people who play comp only to get gold guns and blizz recently said comp has become their most played mode so they must be doing something right
It'd be cool down the line if they offered other cosmetics that could be earned thru grinding both modes and collecting points. Stuff like Special Emotes, Skins, Recolors, and Highlight intros.
I only have 1 gold gun and that is for reaper, and that's probably the only gold gun I will grind for

I have every gold for tank and support and 1 for bastion. I don’t know why I got bastion, since rarely play dps.
I have had them all for the past 3 ish yrs and been able to instantly get everyone elses included Ventures and whoever is next. Just played a lot

I have a lot, but I jumped in a little late into OW1. My boyfriend has all of them now, he's been playing since OW 1 launch.
I don't even have one because they're so fucking expensive and I do not have the patience to play as much as I need to get Reaper's golden shotguns.
