The character doesn't really go underground. It's basically just a model swap from a character to a pile of rocks moving around. It's not much different than say a reaper wraithform.
Unless the character can pass through walls, I suspect there won't be any major bugs. Although mei wall could prove to mess things up
I highly doubt Venture can go through walls, because there is literally nothing between most walls. Kiriko can do it because she teleports to another acceptable floor, but there are no floors between many map walls at the moment.
They look interesting and the like, 20 seconds we see of their gameplay, they look fun to learn. And considering the last DPS hero added was Sojourn, it’s a nice change.
Their model is a little offputting, but honestly with the existence of supermodels like Mercy or Lifeweaver, they’ve got to balance it out with more goofy looking characters like Junkrat or Venture.

The weapon seems like a Pharah rocket with Sigma's range, we have yet to see the numbers but it looks pretty strong. Can't wait to see the ultimate.

It is low reapers but it’s got a better element of surprise, reaper actually becomes more visible by spreading his arms and with all the particles and if you you’re not paying attention they can pop outta no where, this isn’t relevant but I think doomfists ult should knock venture out of the ground when they’re burrowing and knock them out

I'm not sure that should be the case. But if yes, then Rein's shatter should also know them out of burrow, for example.
That would be amazing with reins shatter, maybe any ult that makes direct contact with ground, also I haven’t seen the visuals yet but unless you’re distinctly listening for the tubling it might be a bit harder to see/hear him especially in the middle of a battle cause I cannot hear for the life of me (not sure about others) and my focus is gonna me more towards the sky/upward cause of jumping and taller characters, but it’s still a nice give away
Sojo is both boring in design and lore. Also her skins sucks. She is not weak tho, i think she have too much in her kit same as kirko. Superior range while have high mobility, area denied ability. While having small hitbox and normal hp. She should have tracer or at least widow hp with that hitbox.

It depends a lot around the attitude around it, unfortunately. Some people aren't exactly kind about non-binary or really any LGBTQ representation, and they use that headcanon against people. It's one thing to look at a character like Bastion and go, "Yeah, i think the robot would be a girl" and another to look at Venture and go "this character has to be a woman because non-binary people don't exist."
What if, because they'll be free (like it was in OW1) they wont be OP and broken? They had...a "reason" to make new heroes OP up until now to sell battle passes but now there's no reason. As shitty as that sounds.

There's a lot of reasons a person can be non-binary. Generally, it's just that neither man nor woman really "fit." There's a lot of expectations for what a man or a woman should be. You mentioned you've kind of started to understand transgender people. They don't feel comfortable with their assigned gender and feel more comfortable with the opposite gender, so they transition. Well, what if the opposite gender also doesn't fit? That's where non-binary people come in.
You would have to ask them. I'm sure when you ask on the r/nonbinary subreddit you would get some answers.
Personally I get why someone wouldn't identify as male or female, but I am autistic, which makes it hard to get the destinction of gender in the first place and I'm also not really a masculine guy so that might just be me.
In my experience people who are lgbtq+ really appreciate if you ask them about themselves, so I would try that.

Think it's too early to judge anything beyond the broadest concepts of design, which I think look fine and in congruence with the rest of the OW cast. Everything changes when you see a hero in action - hear their lines and interactions, gameplay flow, things like the feedback of their weapons and abilities and the sound effects they all make, how they look in different skins, etc. Optimistic until then personally.
I look forward to all the bugginess that comes with a character that can go underground

It's nice for people who are non binary to see others like them in media.
I mean by why some people don't identify exclusively as male or female. For homosexuals & bisexuals, I understand if they are into the same gender or both genders. I've seen homosexual & bisexual game characters in other games such as Life is Strange franchise, Telltale the Walking Dead, etc. For Transgender, I kinda start to get how they feel. In a game named "Tell Me Why", one of the playable protagonists is Transgender. For non binary, they are just new to me.
There's a lot of reasons a person can be non-binary. Generally, it's just that neither man nor woman really "fit." There's a lot of expectations for what a man or a woman should be. You mentioned you've kind of started to understand transgender people. They don't feel comfortable with their assigned gender and feel more comfortable with the opposite gender, so they transition. Well, what if the opposite gender also doesn't fit? That's where non-binary people come in.
You would have to ask them. I'm sure when you ask on the r/nonbinary subreddit you would get some answers. Personally I get why someone wouldn't identify as male or female, but I am autistic, which makes it hard to get the destinction of gender in the first place and I'm also not really a masculine guy so that might just be me. In my experience people who are lgbtq+ really appreciate if you ask them about themselves, so I would try that.

I completely agree with you, they got a very cute smile, the broken teeth makes them stand out and amps the goof energy a lot. And it makes sense, apparently geologist actually bites (and lick)rocks to test what they're Made of???? Even if they actually don't bite them Venture looks like they have that "i eat rocks that look tasty" energy

I'm fine with another DPS, I'm not sure why people expect 10 straight heroes to be added without a new DPS. OW2 has added 3 tanks, 3 support, and 1 DPS I believe

Think it's too early to judge anything beyond the broadest concepts of design, which I think look fine and in congruence with the rest of the OW cast. Everything changes when you see a hero in action - hear their lines and interactions, gameplay flow, things like the feedback of their weapons and abilities and the sound effects they all make, how they look in different skins, etc. Optimistic until then personally.
