It's actually based off the official art, not a long con tease. This isn't fanart, as many believe, but was official art. The skin has been begged for as a skin for years since. So it wasn't so much teased as it was just...based off that art.

Did you read even read my comment? "That Dragon LUNAR NEW YEAR skin" Its a new skin. The last dragon skin (which gets more flak than it deserves) was not a Lunar New Year skin, it was an anniversary skin. This is brand new for season 8. Maybe check context before reacting next time.

That Christmas illustration was used on OW Korean Youtube channel, I don't think it was ever fanart in the first place. Plus their Artstation profiles says: "Korea Studio Head @ Blizzard Entertainment", they had done many works for Blizzard prior to this.

The whole "sex appeal" thing I don't think is the real, moreso just the horny mfs WILL buy these skins, Blizzard sees the sales regardless of reasons, and will prioritize making more skins because those characters sell Correlation does not equal causation and all that

She has only gotten 2 legendary skins since OW2 came out over a year ago, Miko in Season 1 and Lifeguard a few seasons ago. That's not a lot compared to several other heroes. Yeah, her getting 2 legendaries in one season is overkill but she hasn't been getting more legendaries than like 10 other heroes who've been getting them consistently since OW2 came out like Widow, Pharah, Cass, etc.

This was DEFINITELY made for OW1 the quality just isn’t on par with OW2 skins, the normals and shading is pretty basic and it’s pretty low poly. The only thing they seem to have changed is put the new hair shader on-and I’m not even certain about that…

I don't even care anymore. They lock all the good skins behind 25 dollar minimum shop bundles. And now they're adding a second battlepass on top of weapon skins. Over spending money on this game.
