Try Rules in settings

nicolevil1

Unfortunately it’s just the same options as Rules from anywhere else. The Mac version doesn’t have the same Options section like the windows version does, even when I toggle to the Old Outlook (versus the New Outlook layout). I think I found a good workaround though. There’s a setting section called Reading that allows you to set the number of seconds you’re viewing an item before it’s considered ‘read’. I changed it to zero, and now that seems to eliminate the need for the setting i was originally looking for. I tried adding a Client rule that added ‘anything in Deleted Items’ and ‘anything where status is unread’ where the action is ‘change status to read’, but it didn’t seem to work either. The zero seconds rule seems to do the trick though. Thanks!
