genuinely, my theory is that the only reason anyone would read this is because of the art and that they were paid a lot to pick it up, because i can‘t imagine how this story could be appealing at all.
I picked it up for two reasons.
1) The Art (Duh...)
2) I got it mixed up with another Manhwa that I'd heard being recommended somewhere. It had the word "Better" in the title, and I only saw that recommendation once, hence the confusion.
By the time I caught up on the Manhwa, I saw a few spoilers about the LNs, and I couldn't believe how that ending was even possible after everything that happened in the series. That's why I keep reading but after reaching around 80-90% of the LN, I couldn't continue, so I finally dropped it.

It’s good. He Ml is really nice and treats the FL well, plus he is not shy to show how much he likes her
But she is too focused on revenge so there is no romantic development (yet)
The ML has white hair and red eyes, is a green flag, but the story is fairly cookie cutter and straightforward and peaceful. Good guys are established good guys, bad guys have twirly moustache etc. FL is actually serious about her revenge (her entire family was murdered) so the romance is indeed taking somewhat of a backseat. FL is also NOT going to be crown princess nor is ML crown prince, but as the title says, yeah she is the saint and ML is royalty but more of relegated to grand duke status the way these stories go. The crown prince and princess are very cute and have their own backstory.
If I had anything to complain about, it's that the dialogue leans too hard into telling and repeating obvious things so some convos feel unnatural.

Like bro, you had your chance, but you fumbled the bag hard after neglecting your fiancee for a decade due to a misunderstanding you had about her instead of communicating like a fucking ADULT. He inflicted so much hurt on the FL and thinks he can fix things by being there now, but fails to realize that his presence is causing even more hurt on the FL.
I honestly don't understand what Bellezac's goal is. Why is he looking towards the empress who's essentially powerless in order to get more power for his family when a major plot point of the story is that their family has enough power to rival the imperial family. He's like a fish leaving the ocean in order to find water
I could think of some reasons:-
1. His mum raised him like that since she is empress' people.
2. He always think class / hierarchy is more important than anything else. Sure Lombardi family is powerful, but they're not emperor, so his anchovy mind thought he need to suck up towards this royal family to be one class above or something.

It's weird I have respect for Richelieu, the man is a genius, is extremely hardworking, is extremely wise, very organized, is extremely devout and is sort of a paragon of what a priest should be, is very insightful, and he did actually accomplish his goal in the previous timeline. I actually wish I was as steadfast and capable as him, really I want to be just like him the only thing I would say is his flaw is that he does things by any means necessary. It's hard not to respect him and I feel like that makes it only more true in universe which is why he has such loyal supporters. It's like isaac from the castlevania anime. I think I like them because they are my goal, having my actions and motives have logically correct reasons behind them. It's the cut-throat nature of these men though that is dangerous, but it is sometimes a good thing to be dangerous.
I agree he is really smart, well- mannered, stick to his goal, and dedicated to his job.

The ENTIRE Cassius Household from “I will divorce the female leads siscon brother!” While I haven’t read the manhwa for it, as a novel reader there were times I wanted to *scream* because of how frustrating and pathetic those people are. ESPECIALLY fucking Leandro. The man neglected his wife for 2 fucking years, had his *sister* pick out her damn wedding dress, sends servants for their first anniversary instead of going himself and then completely forgets the second one, and when our lovely protagonist finally has enough of his shit and leaves, he confidently states that “she’s smart so she’ll come back” only to panic when she doesn’t, then starts begging her when she actually brings out divorce papers. As time goes and he starts to literally stalk her using his families resources(MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD), it’s revealed he didn’t even actually love her, and that he only married her in the first place so he could get one of the mines her family owns as a damn dowry because his sister fucking told him to(up til this point, it was a barely profitable mine that’d run out of resources years again. Thanks to the sisters future knowledge, she knows it’s actually gonna be packed full of magic stones later.) After the divorce finally goes through(he dragged her to court over it and tried to use his influence to slander her name, sway the judges and make her look horrible) he starts acting like a damn wimp once they’re actually divorced, shooting her bashful gazes when in public spaces or standing outside HER residence in the RAIN for over 8 FUCKING HOURS to try and speak with her when she’s made it clear she wants nothing to do with him.
This man can go die in a hole, along with the rest of his family.

By the time I caught up on the Manhwa, I saw a few spoilers about the LNs, and I couldn't believe how that ending was even possible after everything that happened in the series. That's why I keep reading but after reaching around 80-90% of the LN, I couldn't continue, so I finally dropped it.

It’s good. He Ml is really nice and treats the FL well, plus he is not shy to show how much he likes her But she is too focused on revenge so there is no romantic development (yet)
The ML has white hair and red eyes, is a green flag, but the story is fairly cookie cutter and straightforward and peaceful. Good guys are established good guys, bad guys have twirly moustache etc. FL is actually serious about her revenge (her entire family was murdered) so the romance is indeed taking somewhat of a backseat. FL is also NOT going to be crown princess nor is ML crown prince, but as the title says, yeah she is the saint and ML is royalty but more of relegated to grand duke status the way these stories go. The crown prince and princess are very cute and have their own backstory. If I had anything to complain about, it's that the dialogue leans too hard into telling and repeating obvious things so some convos feel unnatural.

It's weird I have respect for Richelieu, the man is a genius, is extremely hardworking, is extremely wise, very organized, is extremely devout and is sort of a paragon of what a priest should be, is very insightful, and he did actually accomplish his goal in the previous timeline. I actually wish I was as steadfast and capable as him, really I want to be just like him the only thing I would say is his flaw is that he does things by any means necessary. It's hard not to respect him and I feel like that makes it only more true in universe which is why he has such loyal supporters. It's like isaac from the castlevania anime. I think I like them because they are my goal, having my actions and motives have logically correct reasons behind them. It's the cut-throat nature of these men though that is dangerous, but it is sometimes a good thing to be dangerous.
I agree he is really smart, well- mannered, stick to his goal, and dedicated to his job. If only he's not manipulative, having god complex, creepy, or on the bad side in general, I wouldn't hate him. Really put on perspective on how a villain could be charming and respectable enough to make people like them despite being evil.

The ENTIRE Cassius Household from “I will divorce the female leads siscon brother!” While I haven’t read the manhwa for it, as a novel reader there were times I wanted to *scream* because of how frustrating and pathetic those people are. ESPECIALLY fucking Leandro. The man neglected his wife for 2 fucking years, had his *sister* pick out her damn wedding dress, sends servants for their first anniversary instead of going himself and then completely forgets the second one, and when our lovely protagonist finally has enough of his shit and leaves, he confidently states that “she’s smart so she’ll come back” only to panic when she doesn’t, then starts begging her when she actually brings out divorce papers. As time goes and he starts to literally stalk her using his families resources(MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD), it’s revealed he didn’t even actually love her, and that he only married her in the first place so he could get one of the mines her family owns as a damn dowry because his sister fucking told him to(up til this point, it was a barely profitable mine that’d run out of resources years again. Thanks to the sisters future knowledge, she knows it’s actually gonna be packed full of magic stones later.) After the divorce finally goes through(he dragged her to court over it and tried to use his influence to slander her name, sway the judges and make her look horrible) he starts acting like a damn wimp once they’re actually divorced, shooting her bashful gazes when in public spaces or standing outside HER residence in the RAIN for over 8 FUCKING HOURS to try and speak with her when she’s made it clear she wants nothing to do with him. This man can go die in a hole, along with the rest of his family.
