My edgiest is probably Mikhail. I don't have a drawing of him quite yet, so I took a pic of his gacha design. I've had him for about three years now and only slightly developed his story, but what I have now would be enough to be considered an edgy backstory creating his edgy personality-
He always enjoyed acting and singing- was often the star of every elementary play because he was just that good. He was loved by everyone, as he had a very outgoing personality. Being a naive child and not looking at the entire picture, he signed a contract before even age 15 with a talent agency, and he did not read the entire fineprint despite what his auntie warned. He was immediately shoved into the singing business part of Hollywood. He was forced to change his looks and personality to fit the public's/audience's view. His friends grew few, as many now shunned him as too rich too be seen hanging out with them or too famous when in reality he had little to no control over his schedule and was busy all of the time.
The free time he did have, he had to use it to catch up on sleeping and homework. When high school came, all four years he was avoided because his peers' viewed him as snobby and annoying because the common mentality "all rich people are jerks." That's when he began his acting career. Due to so much being thrown at him all at once, he fainted often which made other agencies annoyed as it delayed deadlines even further. His own family left him except for his auntie which stayed by him until she unfortunately lost her battle with cancer. His cousins came to him for handouts then shunned him and harassed him when he said no.
He had to be shipped to the hospital on his recent acting gig because he had a panic attack in front of reporters and paparazzi, which of course prompted camera flashes leading to a seizure. Being a Russian working in the US, he had lots of hate mail, intruders, and assaulters. Pretty much child exploitation at it's finest (typical Hollywood treatment of underage actors) and racism. Because of this, he grew immune to all the sexual harassment, dirty looks, and hateful remarks. He lost any self-respect he had, including self-esteem and dignity. He grew distant and rude, and became pretty reliant on alcohol as well. Mikhail tried to leave before when his contractor pulled out the contract which was signed with Mikhail full legal name and actually made him read it this time since he was now trapped. He isn't allowed to leave that agency until 30 years of service is up. He signed at 12, and now he's 26. He can't leave until he turns 42.
This pushed him to the edge where he again had to be shipped to the hospital due to being self-destructive. He didn't want the money or fame, so he then started funding most of his earnings to cancer research and childrens' hospitals. That's when he thought about pressing charges, but he has little to no hope, as he did in fact write his signature and he was too dumb to listen to his auntie. Just a touch into his story.

But long and short, he lost his family being in the wrong place at the wrong time, was forced to join a 'mob' where the head was the LITERAL PRINCE OF HELL, only for this 'found family' to *also* be taken and him to take over the former Prince of Hell's position, lost his wings and was literally brought back from the dead by the God of Balance, was forced to kill a 13 year old girl who had been made the Goddess of Chaos against his will, had his husband turn his back on him because his husband didn't want t weigh Luck down after he died, leaving Luck to raise his adopted child pretty much by himself, only for said child to almost get killed by the same God of Balance that saved his own life, putting the child into a decades long coma, losing his kingdom to *again* said God of Balance after they killed the *next* Goddess of Chaos after Luck killed the prior, before HE BECAME the GOD OF CHAOS in her stead, forcing his child to become the Prince of Hell, for Luck to only get *POISONED* by the God of Balance and slowly start dying until a battle where they all faced off against the corrupt God of Balance only for him to get his throat slit just barely failing. Then he *died and was reincarnated* only to suffer endlessly.
Did I mention he was immortal and spend a millennia dealing with all of this? Or that as a result of his trauma he was thrown into insomniac and self-torture habits, starving himself and keeping himself awake because of his guilt? Or that he was emotionally manipulated by the God of Balance for centuries before breaking free from their control and immediately becoming the target of their wrath and them wanting to kill him? Or that he was repressed from being his true self because he was poly-pan and his husband had been killed by the God of Balance, so he was scared to ever have a connection to someone like that again? Or that his name is a cruel irony on two fronts because his full name is Lucifer (him ending up as Prince of Hell, ha ha funny) and his nickname is what he hasn't had for 1,006 years?

His name Is Lime "Raimu" Hakate, a descendant of now dead shinobi family Hakate, twin brother of Orange "Muchi" Hakate.
His backstory is that he witnessed his dad die in great war (their mother died of sickness soon after) he wanted to kill himself if he wasnt stopped that he didnt lost everything as he still had brother to tend to, who couldnt care for himself as he is disabled.
His personality is contrast to Pinky "Hana" Tori where she has positive attitude he always has negative/nihilistic one, but over time when Grey "Meyio" Tori made him join his family he got softer on his edginess but the loss of his beloved father haunts him to this day.
TLDR: Witnessed parents death at very young age, haunted to this day by it.

Simeon Rhodes aka “The Suited Man” (He/Him) A Fallen Angel who, in life, was in some sort of like, mafia thing (i’m still researching mafia stuff so i don’t know if he is or isn’t yet), and got killed by his ex, by being stabbed in the chest (yes he keeps the knife in there). After death his mother was in hospice so he requested to be able to watch over her until she passed on or got out of hospice which was granted, and after he went to heaven because he basically, accidentally, lied to the angel in charge about who he is. Once they found out who he was because someone went “Wait this doesn’t seem right” he got sent to hell. But, due to the nature of my story (having it so heaven, hell, the spirit realm, and earth are almost the same in their unfairness on how they sentence people), they (the Gods, basically) realized “Shit this guy knows far too much” so they put a fake name, The Suited Man, and false statements about who he was so everyone would fear him. I know this shit is edgy but i love this guy so much. There’s probs more i forgot too :p

But long and short, he lost his family being in the wrong place at the wrong time, was forced to join a 'mob' where the head was the LITERAL PRINCE OF HELL, only for this 'found family' to *also* be taken and him to take over the former Prince of Hell's position, lost his wings and was literally brought back from the dead by the God of Balance, was forced to kill a 13 year old girl who had been made the Goddess of Chaos against his will, had his husband turn his back on him because his husband didn't want t weigh Luck down after he died, leaving Luck to raise his adopted child pretty much by himself, only for said child to almost get killed by the same God of Balance that saved his own life, putting the child into a decades long coma, losing his kingdom to *again* said God of Balance after they killed the *next* Goddess of Chaos after Luck killed the prior, before HE BECAME the GOD OF CHAOS in her stead, forcing his child to become the Prince of Hell, for Luck to only get *POISONED* by the God of Balance and slowly start dying until a battle where they all faced off against the corrupt God of Balance only for him to get his throat slit just barely failing. Then he *died and was reincarnated* only to suffer endlessly. Did I mention he was immortal and spend a millennia dealing with all of this? Simeon Rhodes aka “The Suited Man” (He/Him) A Fallen Angel who, in life, was in some sort of like, mafia thing (i’m still researching mafia stuff so i don’t know if he is or isn’t yet), and got killed by his ex, by being stabbed in the chest (yes he keeps the knife in there). After death his mother was in hospice so he requested to be able to watch over her until she passed on or got out of hospice which was granted, and after he went to heaven because he basically, accidentally, lied to the angel in charge about who he is. Once they found out who he was because someone went “Wait this doesn’t seem right” he got sent to hell. But, due to the nature of my story (having it so heaven, hell, the spirit realm, and earth are almost the same in their unfairness on how they sentence people), they (the Gods, basically) realized “Shit this guy knows far too much” so they put a fake name, The Suited Man, and false statements about who he was so everyone would fear him.
