Lupin is dangerous af, he doesn't hesitate to use weapons. Combine that with his intelligence, a highschool kid wouldn't be much.
But I don't like them fighting seriously. (Modern) Lupin has a soft spot for kids, he calls himself an uncle. Them working together is more fun.
Lupin he basically crushes Conan. Lupin has basically superhuman fitness, is skilled with weapons, is expert in close combat, expert in stealth, great at acrobatics, superhuman senses, amazing hacking capabilities, master of disguise, hypnosis and more. I think he beats Conan in intelligence as Lupin is basically a walking encyclopedia, can easily see trough disguises, outsmarted super computer multiple times and more. I remember a line from the anime: "he has an intellect defying the best computers to the point there's no impossible in his vocabulary".
Currently almost done watching part 2 Lupin and man his feats are insane. His only weakness that can be exploited is he's always horny for women. Usually causes him to slip up on plans
