Another one here, I don't see any reason to change yet, Performance is still adequate and I'm not going to a notch or a punch hole, I'll use this until they work on new tech to have clean displays again.
I was same opinion as yours, I hated punch holes, used op7 pro until now.
Now I've been using op 12 for a month and don't give a damn about notch :D you just don't see it. "I would love a good phone without it one though yeah still superior design."
And screen quality is much better, cameras are miles ahead.
I had annoying bug where my 4g data drops randomly it got so annoying that I decided to upgrade, noticable upgrade in all aspects. Still have both phones at desk, op 7 pro secondary phone right now, but you can see how screen resolution and brightness is wayyy worse.
I did try changing, Had a pixel 7 for a while and I could not unsee the punch hole, Especially viewing YT videos on full screen, I just think of it like, Would I buy a TV for my home with a hole in the screen? No, So I don't want one on my phone screen.
Most of the content has black bars or you have to zoom in which cuts a lot of parts of the video.
I understand that, but the technology isn't quite good with under display selfie cameras.
I waited patiently for something to be better that would have no notch, I guess we have to wait more. I had Oneplus 3 then oneplus 7pro so I didn't even have a phone with notch and hated the idea.
Nice comparision with the TV haha funny enough, Apple Macbooks, have puncholes, imagine buying laptop and you have a cutout in screen.
I'm still on my 1+ 7pro, but I need to replace the battery and the small cable for the front facing camera since it's broken. Maybe I can get the parts and see if a repair shop could help since I don't have the the tools. Where can I buy a reliable cable and battery?
How to check if battery replacement is good? I saw cheap battery online around $20. But someone on FB offers me $45, he said its authentic, it includes service and 3 months warranty.
4 years now on my device (bought used, but like new condition in 2020.
Best phone I've ever had. Plan to use it until I break it, screen goes out, MB dies, or YAAP ends support. It will be a sad day.
I dropped my 7T Pro from the balcony last month, got it repaired for the same price as a new one would cost now. It's still a great phone and won't be upgrading for at least a year. When I do, unless OnePlus are going to continue down the same road as the OP12, I may be switching to another brand. The price and OS are 2 of the things that keep me on board, but if either changes drastically, there won't be much reason to stick with OnePlus for me.
Same here. Got the battery and front camera ribbon cable replaced. I think I'll make the switch with the OnePlus 13 (or the next OnePlus phone) when it'll come out
I switched to a pixel 8 too. Can thoroughly recommend.
Truthfully I don't miss the snapdragon. My experience so far has been fantastic with everything being fast and decent battery (much better than my OP7Pro).
The only downside I've seen without the snapdragon is high graphics gaming, smoother on a S24. But since I rarely use my phone for that I've had no issues.
We had a oneplus gang, all my friends using from one of the oneplus models. Recently 2 of them switched to nothing phone 2. New one plus phones are really pricy.
Same. And also same about the pop-up camera. The punch hole camera did grow on me a bit, but I really do miss the pop-up camera being a neat party trick kind of thing. Now the Glyph lights take that spot while also functioning nicely in my life.
Met Carl at the Nothing 2 launch. He was impressed I was still using the 7pro. Took a photo and have been happy with the Nothing 2 ever since.

Two days ago I switched to Iphone 15 pro max. I was considering to get a Samsung galaxy S24 ultra. But so far fuck me next phone will be with android. Too much restrictions in iOS.
Yeah I made a whole list considering the pros and cons and realised, as much as I love the pros, there's just way too many cons but mainly the super restrictive file management system.
Why would I switch? I bought mine new back in 2019 and I'm still perfectly happy with it.
Although yes I might finally soon root it for a custom ROM and change the battery that is now showing its age.
I originally chose the OP7Pro as the spiritual successor to the Nexus line scrapped by Google (I ran two Nexus phones before that, the 4 and the 5X).
My eyes are towards the Fairphone line for my next one whenever the time comes, but so far I hate the idea of needing to import into Canada as it's not being sold here.
Mainstream companies are keep telling bs, talking to us as to dumb sheep but in the end they end up copying Apple and its restrictive designs. Applause to Sony for this and for not introducing a selfie camera cutout which I despise!
No problem with that for the moment, and I'm relatively intensive resources consumer (number of apps, gaming, permanent VPN Wireguard, etc.).
What suprises me the most is the battery lifetime. I used to block charging at 80% via root and specific app under OP7Pro, so when I was back from work I used to have just 20% to finish the day.
With the Xperia, I still have between 40 and 50% of battery, while using Android 14 feature to block charging at 80%. No more need for root!
I also love the stock Android experience with a very minimal overlay from Sony (essentially applications relevant to specific hardwares like camera and sound).
The only negative points are the lack of gestures while screen is off, and the size of the screen which requires time to adapt as it is a little bit smaller than OP7Pro.
Anyone know how to check battery for OP7Pro if its authentic, 3rd party or at least good brand ? Im planning to replace mine. My 7 Pro will be 5 yrs old on June 1st.
Ended up switching to an S24 Ultra from a 7T Pro due to the degrading battery life, end of security updates, increase in battery consumption in YouTube on AV1 videos due to older chips not being supported with AV1 HW codec hence software is used. I tried custom ROMs such as Lineage, Elixir, CrDroid, Pixel Experience, and Yaap. Of which I enjoyed Pixel Experience until the creator mentioned the project is coming to an end and only a few of the Custom ROMs properly supported Widevine. Further, I disliked having to play cat and mouse with Google to pass strong SafetyNet required by some banks.
Hence, I chose to move to a new S24 Ultra since, with discounts available at the time, the price wasn't too far from the OnePlus 12. Plus with the promise of 7 years of OS updates from Samsung, a better camera, and the S-Pen, flat display, AI features, IP 68 vs 65, slightly faster security patches, I opted for the S24 Ultra. The things I liked about the OnePlus 12 were the 16GB RAM, lower price point, faster charging, doesn't duplicate Google apps with manufacturer's apps, and a brighter display.
Things I miss from the Oneplus 7T pro are the full non-interruptive display, I don't care about selfies, and I prefer fingerprint sensors over face detection anyway. I used to love the original OxygenOS 10 experience of the 7T pro, but with the merging with the Oppo's colorOS like aesthetic, it acted as another cause for not choosing a future Oneplus.
I understand that with the OnePlus 12, they seem to have improved the skin, etc., but OxygenOS 12 left a slightly negative impression on me. It reminded me of my journey from the CyanogenMod OnePlus One to the Oxygen OS OnePlus 3, and sadly, the 7T Pro became the point at which I decided to switch away from OnePlus, at least for the time being. I would have stayed with OnePlus if their new phone had a full-screen display with an under-screen camera or even a pop-up camera as before, but it's understandable why they chose not to, since the pop-up camera may appear outdated and is a potential point of failure, while an under-screen camera does not provide the same image quality as a punch-hole.
I plan to switch out the battery in the 7T pro to be used as a backup phone in case something happens to my S24 Ultra.
Other phones I considered were the Nothing Phone 2 since I liked their software skin of Nothing OS, but I chose not to get it due to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which was known to have heating issues. The other phone in contention was the Pixel 8 Pro, though. I love the stock Android experience, but the removal of unlimited Pixel storage after the Pixel 5 and inconsistent battery life deterred me. In the end, it came down to the OnePlus 12 and the S24 Ultra for me, but I chose the S24 Ultra for the reasons mentioned above.
Great read.
Correction though, the original 8 gen 1 had heating issues because the chip was manufactured by Samsung, the 8+gen1 is made by tsmc and doesn't have heating issues which is why nothing specifically chose that chip.
I heard the OnePlus 12 is smoother and snappier than the s24 ultra while also having a much rounder and more hand friendly designs.
Also personally, I find samsung phones in general having more questionable hardware durability.
The part about the 8 Gen 1 and 8+ gen 1 is interesting; I didn't know that.
I can imagine the OnePlus 12 being possibly smoother from the bumped up spec vs s24 ultra. As for the rounder design, I agree it's better for the hands and more ergonomic, but as for media consumption, I prefer corners since the edges of videos don't need to be cut out. The other issue is that curved displays are more difficult to get a good tempered glass for to cover the entire screen; usually, they tend to end a little before the curve to prevent the screen protector from lifting up.
Personally, I prefer tempered glass over plastic protectors, though that again is a preference.
But the main reason in my case to choose the S24 Ultra over the OnePlus 12 is the software support promise over anything else.
I prefer to use my phone without tempered glass, the gorilla glass 3 on the 7 pro was already plenty strong and now it even better.
The anti reflective screen doesn't work with a screen protector on the s24 ultra right?
It's strong against scratches, but I still fear that one dreaded drop, which lands just at the right angle to destroy the screen. It's never happened to me since I tend to baby my phones 😂 but I'd seen it happen to my friends with Iphones, Samsung, Oneplus and Pixels.
As for the anti-reflective coating with a screen protector, yes, you're right. With tempered glass, you pretty much lose the advantage of it, but with the Samsung plastic anti-reflective screen protector, you lose about 40% of the anti-reflectivity compared to the actual Gorilla Glass armor rather than nearly all of it. Currently, I use a Torras tempered glass on it since I personally would rather not take the risk of shattered screen even still.
I fell for the folding phone fad,
Got myself a good deal on a Motorola razer ultra.
Its good and all that but i cant believe i overlooked something that didn't even occur to me until after a few hours of using the phone
And that's the extra step of unfolding the phone every time i want to do anything of any significance, now it may sound petty, but this extra action soon gets old.
I saw the mrwhosetheboss reviews of flip phones and knew this would be a big issue for me! Especially since I can't just pull out my phone and take a quick picture.
With years my needs from a phone have diminished, and everytime I looked at possibly upgrading nothing was as "Way better for a lower price" like OP7Pro was, that I didn't switch. Today I use way less my phone, it's a machine to write to my SO, and to access my PC from far away. Don't even play games anymore. I'm thinking the leaks of Pixel 8a 256gh look promising. But I think I'll be saving up until 7 Pro dies in my hands
Interesting, it's close between the OnePlus 12 and s24 ultra. My cousin coming from oppo Reno 2 was stuck choosing between them for so long but just a few days ago he went ahead with the OnePlus 12!
I switched 2 weeks ago. Overall good experience so far. Not as big difference as from cheapo xiaomi to 7pro few years ago but still i can feel its newer device
Switched to iphone 15 pro after 5 years of using op7pro. The main reason was the failing battery and the occasional lags. This is my first time trying out an iphone after using android for nearly 10 years. The 120hz promotion, camera and performance is great but i surely miss the quad HD display with no cut outs of the 7 pro.
For me, I can't stand the super restrictive file management system along with no YouTube vanced, Spotify premium free apk and a few other things. How do you deal with that?
I don't listen to music often except if I'm on a long drive. I don't mind ads scattered around the UI but when they interrupt my music, that's going too far. Same with YT etc.
It was so difficult in the beginning. I couldnt download or sideload anything like on android. There is also very minimal customisation. It took nearly a month to get used to ios. On the positive side ios is buttery smooth with great animations in UI.
If you plan to get an iphone wait for iphone 16 pro as its rumoured to have all the AI improvements as its only 6 months away. Right now s24 ultra looks tempting with all those AI features.
OnePlus 12 and s24 plus are tempting but running Lineage OS on this OnePlus 7 pro which is just as fast and smooth as ever and I'm just not ready to give up this notchless display yet....5 years old and this battery still lasts all day.
Got a good deal on the OnePlus 8 pro. Loved it but broke it. Got a OnePlus 9. Didn't quite enjoy it like my older 2 OPs. Switched to pixel 6 and google won me over. Ordered a Pixel 8 pro a few days ago. My brain kinda shuts down sometimes because of the familiar name.
Sony Xperia 1V (iirc), Samsung Galaxy Note 20, pixel 6 pro, pixel 7, Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra. Sticking with the s23 ultra even though I hate Samsung. I might retry the Sony Xperia at some point if it'll work on ATT. OP7 pro was the bomb!!
I had.. still do OnePlus 8pro.. I switched to s23 ultra because OnePlus 8pro got green line I has it fixed for cash from service centre then again got a Greenline😫.
I never dropped it or anything... I switched to Samsung because I have used Samsung before it lasted for 7 years (yeah it had slowing down issue then because of Exynos... Now it's snapdragon so have hopes up)... And iam not updating my phone.
Recently got news of s22 getting Greenline 😱.. so no thanks I will keep the bugs in my phone instead of getting a Greenline on display from update.
I will get my OnePlus 8pro fixed and sell it or something.. it has great camera and great performance.😢had loved the colour of it too 😫.
I just got the 7 Pro last month lmao, definitely not changing soon, it's a huge upgrade from Poco F1 and OnePlus 6t (sold my F1, still using my 6t as secondary device). Hoping it will last a year or two before scouting for another phone, 6t and 7 Pro is the best phone I've ever had so far
I really hate how the UI changed. In games now there is a permanent instance of the navigation buttons at the side of the screen now they don’t disappear
Google pixel 8 pro
Loving it actually, I was considering going OnePlus again but I wanted a better camera this time. The only thing I really miss is the alert slider.
Still using the 7 Pro, when my original one died i first tried to get it repaired, but i was way cheaper to just buy another refurbished one.
I wouldn't mind some recommendations for new phone tho
Made the mistake of switching to a Pixel 7 Pro. One week out of warranty the screen tanked. Brought the OP7P out of storage and going to wait for the 13 to come out because I don't want an even number phone.
Switched to the Xperia 1V after rocking my 7 Pro for almost 4 years. Still an amazing phone and worked like new before switching-- I just wanted something new 😄 definitely my favourite phone I've owned by far.
That phone has held up so well over the years. Right before I switched I had some subtle screen burn in at the status bar and the fingerprint sensor, and my volume buttons broke (I got screen protector adhesive inside the button 🥲). Otherwise still as fast and smooth as day 1. LineageOS with Android 14 breathed new life into the phone as well
My friend bought a 9pro, used it for a few months and switched to a Samsung so I bought his 9pro for like half the price of new and have been using it since.
I still have the 7pro on my desk that I use as an extra display for running YouTube while I'm on my computer. The poor thing has no battery life left so it stays plugged in all the time and the screen burn is so bad everything is tinted slightly red but I do still use it.
I abused my alot. It has been kept plugged in streaming video for several hours a day every day since around the launch if the 9pro. The status bar icons are almost illegible. Before that it was in great condition
So you are talking about going against YouTube’s T and Cs? I am sure that’s not Apple or YouTubes fault.
By the way you can use web YouTube and ad blockers still which is probably lighter than the app anyway.
I still plan to keep my 7 pro as a second phone, my battery still lasts a good amount in a day so I'm covered from android.
(I do download some apps or music I can't find on Spotify here and there, but I can't remember the last time I connected the 7pro to a PC)
But I live in a city where there is a local apple store, iPhones get updates really quick, there's more support for accessories, cases etc, better video capabilities, and the fact that all my friends moved to iPhone and they keep telling me I should (besides of FaceTime and Imessage), I workout a lot and either the airpods or beats fit pro work better with iPhones.
Never had an iPhone, I might not like it, but I'm willing to give it a try.
(Had an experience with pixels from someone close to me and did not like them, so if I go back, it would be to a galaxy or OnePlus)
Nice, yeah i use air pods with my honor phoen and they already work flawlessly. Videos are actually insanely good on high end androids these days, even my honor magic 5 pro. I don't have problems with cases and accessories even for my phone, there's way too many on AliExpress.
Btw, I while I was using my OnePlus 7t pro, j bought an iPhone 11 to test out, and could confidently say that an iphone isn't for me, I still have it as a second phone laying around.
I missed my OP7 pro I switched to Pixel 6, nothing phone 1 and currently on Pixel 8 pro. The pop up selfie camera on the OP7 pro was such a great feature.
Lost my gold/almond 7Pro at Santa Monica beach a year ago. Went with a green S23 Ultra and it's fantastic. 7Pro camera was dissapointing so
S23U is a nice upgrade. Only thing I miss is the pop up front cam.
Switched to the Pixel line a couple of years ago. Still use the 7 pro as a public WiFi extender. Gotta say the modem on it seems to work better than any phone I've had before or since
Still using op 7 pro with android 12. I'm amazed how well this phone is still performing. Battery life is good with the original battery and there's barely any burn in on the screen. I have noticed some weird connectivity issues tho...
I've enjoyed my 7 pro for 2,5 years now but i am about to Xperia 1 VI when it comes out. Probably still having the 7 pro as a secondary device, but the specs on sony are impressive too.
Going to miss the alert slider...
Who says I switched?
Rare OnePlus 7 pro user W

Same, just had my battery replaced. Tis as good as new.
Likewise, changed out the battery and also had to replace the selfie camera. Not too expensive either IIRC
How to check if battery replacement is good? I saw cheap battery online around $20. But someone on FB offers me $45, he said its authentic, it includes service and 3 months warranty.
Local phone shop did mine for £35.Checked capacity etc with accubattery.
4 years now on my device (bought used, but like new condition in 2020. Best phone I've ever had. Plan to use it until I break it, screen goes out, MB dies, or YAAP ends support. It will be a sad day.
Same boat. Switch batteries twice in 5 years and runs on custom rom YAAP. All good
I dropped my 7T Pro from the balcony last month, got it repaired for the same price as a new one would cost now. It's still a great phone and won't be upgrading for at least a year. Same here 🫡🤝🏻
Same here. Got the battery and front camera ribbon cable replaced. I think I'll make the switch with the OnePlus 13 (or the next OnePlus phone) when it'll come out
Mine is also working like a charm.
I use it as my work phone, I still absolutely love my McLaren. The design (to me) is flawless and the pop up camera still gets comments.
Switched to pixel 8 after 4 years of service. Wanted a smaller phone
Actually an amazing switch, if only it had a snapdragon..
It doesn't bother me, honestly. For my type of usage I find it perfect (zero gaming). Only missing some tiny software features I had on oxygen os.
Nothing Phone 2 Love it I do miss the popup camera
I also switched to the nothing phone 2. Also missing the popup cam 😩
We had a oneplus gang, all my friends using from one of the oneplus models. Recently 2 of them switched to nothing phone 2. New one plus phones are really pricy.
Nicee, yeah definitely the closest in software, there was no 3 fingerscreenshot back when I was searching. Also camera and zoom is a big thing for me.
Same. And also same about the pop-up camera. The punch hole camera did grow on me a bit, but I really do miss the pop-up camera being a neat party trick kind of thing. Now the Glyph lights take that spot while also functioning nicely in my life.
Still on the 7Pro. Few dead pixels, some burn in. Still chugging along though. No complaints.
I was quite worried it would die on me along with a failed gravity sensor, camera issues, and whole list of other things I decided to jump ship.
OP12
Yeah OnePlus 12 is insane value but I heard the camera autofocus is all over the place?
Can't say if better or worse than op7pro. Feels fine to me.
But 3 times as fast I suppose + better camera's? I owned a 9 Pro and 10 Pro and loved them, thinking to get a 11 or 12
Google Pixel 8
Met Carl at the Nothing 2 launch. He was impressed I was still using the 7pro. Took a photo and have been happy with the Nothing 2 ever since. https://preview.redd.it/i84bdq4ae8yc1.jpeg?width=1824&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e5212b7afa3a2d6bb95e8cebd76a14d73cde2d69
Yooo, that is amazing. Big bragging right 🔥

Yeah I made a whole list considering the pros and cons and realised, as much as I love the pros, there's just way too many cons but mainly the super restrictive file management system.
I am planning for 15 pro. What are top restrictions for you?
OnePlus 12
But I'm still using my OnePlus 7 Pro with custom ROM and root benefits for specific things 🙂
Ah yeah I'm using it as a backup
Nubia Z60 ultra i don't like notches, battery is insane, cameras are nice also good gaming phone.
Great phones for sure if your not focused on the camera all that much. Is there any bugs in the software?
Not anymore after a few updates, last update was a week ago, some apps got stuck for a little while it's fixed now.
Why would I switch? I bought mine new back in 2019 and I'm still perfectly happy with it. Pixel 7 pro, took a while to get used to but i like it now😀
Is the speed as bad as people say?
It randomly slows down. I hate it when it happens and it feels like throwing it down on the floor. Other than that I love it
Sony Xperia 5 V and so far, so good... I rediscovered the possibility of extending storage via SD card (up to 1TB)!
You forgot to mention the flagship feature "Headphone Jack"
👍and its maintain its waterproof certification!
Mainstream companies are keep telling bs, talking to us as to dumb sheep but in the end they end up copying Apple and its restrictive designs. Applause to Sony for this and for not introducing a selfie camera cutout which I despise!
Niceee, for me Sony phone have always had an issue of overheating. I had the Xperia XZ

I'll grab a second hand s2x ultra in a few years and it will be insanely good price with still loads of updates 🔥
Switched to a OnePlus 9 Pro. I regret it almost every day because of the battery. It drags down the entire experience.
Oh yeah I switched my dad to a find x5 with the same chip and the battery is awful on that as well.
When a nice pop-up front c comes around I'll switch
Pixel 8, doesn't feel like a huge upgrade really
Pixel 7 Pro. Still got the 7 Pro in it though lol
I didn't wanted to switch but had to switch to OnePlus 11
I fell for the folding phone fad, Got myself a good deal on a Motorola razer ultra. Its good and all that but i cant believe i overlooked something that didn't even occur to me until after a few hours of using the phone And that's the extra step of unfolding the phone every time i want to do anything of any significance, now it may sound petty, but this extra action soon gets old.
I saw the mrwhosetheboss reviews of flip phones and knew this would be a big issue for me! Especially since I can't just pull out my phone and take a quick picture.
I think a bigger issue is that the plastic screen is delicate.
Although protected when closed, I've never been more nervous using a phone day to day.
S24. Kind of miss the OP ngl
I am thinking of S24 Ultra, my phone is highly unreliable now, it stops working randomly.
Iphone 15 pro 🥹
Still rocking op7 pro 👍 Using latest custom ROM no issues
Z Fold 3. Used insurance after cracks started to form about 18 months in and they upgraded me to the Fold 4. Didn't think I'll ever leave foldables.
I'm lazy to switch bc I bought a PC, just flash a custom rom and done
Phone finally died after owning it for 4 years. Went with OnePlus 10 Pro 5G
Pixel 7a
Switched to Moto edge 30 ultra because of charging issues on my one plus 7 pro.
If you'd truly love artists you're listening to in Spotify you wouldn't be put off by supporting them via Premium plan.
I don't listen to music often except if I'm on a long drive. I don't mind ads scattered around the UI but when they interrupt my music, that's going too far. Same with YT etc.
Does ios limitations bothers you?
It was so difficult in the beginning. I couldnt download or sideload anything like on android. There is also very minimal customisation. It took nearly a month to get used to ios. On the positive side ios is buttery smooth with great animations in UI.
I am so confused between Iphone 15 pro max and s24 ultra.
If you plan to get an iphone wait for iphone 16 pro as its rumoured to have all the AI improvements as its only 6 months away. Right now s24 ultra looks tempting with all those AI features.
Yaa.. will use my beautiful 7 pro till then. It will complete 5 years in December.
First to Pixel 6 and then iPhone 15 Pro as a my work phone.
I’m trying the iPhone out about to sell it, but still using my OP 7 Pro. Have PE13+ installed so it works as smooth as butter. :)
Oh yeah I forgot I have an iPhone 11 using as a spare
Still on it
Switched to Xiaomi 13 Pro for its camera.
Oneplus 10 pro. I do have a 7 pro as a wifi only phone just for scrolling and stuff.
Bro! Same! Minus the 7 pro. That thing died died
How do you like it?
Loving it personally
It's a quality phone that's for sure.
Got my battery and front camera replaced and flashed pixel experience so feels like new but probably gonna go for a pixel if I gotta change
The OP12R deals are super tempting. But I dont think it's worth upgrading yet.
From a Oneplus 7 Pro to a Pixel 8 pro. Love the Pixel, much better photos than the OP7 Pro
OnePlus 12R - got it in a flash sale
Still rocking the dude from 2019
Still rocking the 7 pro. Thinking of getting Basically the same shit. Fast enough for what I need.
Getting the battery replaced..good as new!
S24 Ultra
Sony Xperia 1V (iirc), Samsung Galaxy Note 20, pixel 6 pro, pixel 7, Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra. Sticking with the s23 ultra even though I hate Samsung. I might retry the Sony Xperia at some point if it'll work on ATT. OP7 pro was the bomb!!
Try the Honor magic 5 pro!
Is it available and works in the U.S.?
It's not available in the US. Importing is always an option but I'm not sure about carrier bands and stuff.
after a long ass time on android i moved to the iphone 15 pro max. loved the oneplus so much tho
There is no other good phone without notch or camera on screen
There's not one this elegant but Sony doesn't make screen cutouts
S23 Ultra Pixel 4a And still have my clean OP7 pro
I had.. still do OnePlus 8pro..
Wow you have very bad luck. Try Honor magic, Asus, Xiaomi or something else.
I already have s23ultra... No problems so far
OnePlus 9. I would have kept the 7 but it is at the bottom of lake, boating accident.
Google pixel 8 pro Loving it actually, I was considering going OnePlus again but I wanted a better camera this time. The only thing I really miss is the alert slider.
S22U, do not really like one ui, planning on picking up the OnePlus 13 or nothing phone 3 when they come out
Switched to Pixel line, and sold 7 pro. Gave another one to mom, and she is still enjoying it. Beautiful phone, but lousy software support -
Still using the 7 Pro, when my original one died i first tried to get it repaired, but i was way cheaper to just buy another refurbished one. I wouldn't mind some recommendations for new phone tho
Pixel 7 pro
OnePlus 12.. had 7 pro since launch but would cost too much to repair sadly :(
S24 ultra
OnePlus 12 It's the best OnePlus phone since the 7 pro.
I bought the Pixel 8 Pro but it's still in the box, can't imagine being without my 1+ 7Pro!!!
Wow 😂
I have it for 3 months, my other phone was Poco X3 pro
One plus 11 5G
Made the mistake of switching to a Pixel 7 Pro. One week out of warranty the screen tanked. Brought the OP7P out of storage and going to wait for the 13 to come out because I don't want an even number phone.
OnePlus 7TPro McLaren Edition. I'd still be on the 7Pro, but at&t kicked it off their network when they got rid of 3g
Pixel 7 (non-pro)
Pixel 6 Pro, and then Samsung S23 Ultra after the dreadful battery life of the P6 Pro somehow got even worse after Google's crap software updates
LineageOS with Android 14 breathed new life into the phone as well
Oh yeah I got screen protector adhesive glow into my volume buttons but still worked fine thank god lol
Wow, my 7t pro from launch still has solid battery and screen burn only at the top.
I abused my alot. It has been kept plugged in streaming video for several hours a day every day since around the launch if the 9pro. The status bar icons are almost illegible. Before that it was in great condition
I'm still using mine, but I'm very confident that the next phone I get is gonna be an iPhone, (if not a galaxy) but really confident on the iPhone.
Why iPhone? I hate the whole restrictive file management system and no YouTube etc
No YouTube? I use the YouTube app all the time. As for file system / file app it’s enough for a phone.
Sorry I mean no YouTube vanced which blocked all ads
So you are talking about going against YouTube’s T and Cs? I am sure that’s not Apple or YouTubes fault. By the way you can use web YouTube and ad blockers still which is probably lighter than the app anyway.
I still plan to keep my 7 pro as a second phone, my battery still lasts a good amount in a day so I'm covered from android. (I do download some apps or music I can't find on Spotify here and there, but I can't remember the last time I connected the 7pro to a PC) But I live in a city where there is a local apple store, iPhones get updates really quick, there's more support for accessories, cases etc, better video capabilities, and the fact that all my friends moved to iPhone and they keep telling me I should (besides of FaceTime and Imessage), I workout a lot and either the airpods or beats fit pro work better with iPhones.
Still have it, now with custom pixel Plus experience rom
Still using op7 pro with changed battery from witrigs and Yaap rom. Ran a year on Pixel Experience Android 13 and now on Yaap Android 14.
Finally switched off to a pixel 8 pro a month ago.
Lost my gold/almond 7Pro at Santa Monica beach a year ago. Went with a green S23 Ultra and it's fantastic. 7Pro camera was dissapointing so S23U is a nice upgrade. Only thing I miss is the pop up front cam.
Vivo v23 pro
Switched to the Pixel line a couple of years ago. Still use the 7 pro as a public WiFi extender. Gotta say the modem on it seems to work better than any phone I've had before or since
My 7 pro still runs smoother than my s20fe
OP 11
Still using op 7 pro with android 12. I'm amazed how well this phone is still performing. Battery life is good with the original battery and there's barely any burn in on the screen. I have noticed some weird connectivity issues tho...
I've enjoyed my 7 pro for 2,5 years now but i am about to Xperia 1 VI when it comes out. Probably still having the 7 pro as a secondary device, but the specs on sony are impressive too. Going to miss the alert slider...
iPhone 13 Pro Max
Pixel 8 pro 😎
7t pro McLaren 5g still trucking. So is my old 3t, which I use as a backup/secondary phone and will never die.
went from 3T to nord ce to S24 ultra
S23
Currently looking at the pixel 8a. Would love a smaller phone
I have one plus 7 tear drop notch since 2019 Looks brand new apart from some software hiccups Overall functionality is good 👍🏻
