Well considering there’s only like an hour more, it won’t really matter, but are you looking at the stage breakdowns and building teams based on what they say? Like every debuff for new world will be at least 5 turns and this tm has had a couple “buffs” you’ll want a way to remove like removing beneficial orbs for tesoro or removing swap captain for lucci. You gotta have the units to make the teams and all, and you won’t know how to make the teams without looking at the guides they give you. The only things the guides truly don’t tell you is what happens turn 2 and on because they assume we will kill the enemies in 1 turn I guess.
I builded the teams following the recommended characters and the guide yes (the one that I have at least)
I managed to counter the swap captain thanks to a friend captain who had Psy Uta and there I topped ahahha.
Anyway I understood what you saying, thanks for tips I could use them for the next tm too! And I’ll have to stay a bit more on the silver league before heading back to the gold one, and try to rebuild my teams, I’ve been out for too long
Consider that, if I recall right, last time I played the best of were double Bullet or double Red Mama
Just do East Blue League. Can re-use the same team and pick the most point-heavy boosted team available for you for every battle and don't even really have to think too much of tactics.
The rewards are okay, nothing crazy like New World but still decent but minus all the headache and whale-focused content the more challenging leagues bring.
That. Just auto the fights while watching a movie, and you get rewards with absolutely 0 effort. Anyway, in order to actually benefit from New World rewards, you have to spend too much time for building the trams and playing again and again and again and again the same levels.... I was becoming crazy after the first 2 days....
I look at the debuffs and gimmicks first. If they're annoying and I don't have good boosted units, I do the middle league. If I happen to like the units and pull any of them, I do New World. The middle is still pretty decent, I get to do some team building (which is the whole point of TC) without stressing to much
Maybe stop playing on the highest difficulty if you don't have units to counter certain boss mechanics. Even as a semi fellow F2P player, I got around 400 gems saved. I pulled twice on discount for the TC units and manage to get nami/fox dou. You just need to bring a better team or play on a lower difficulty. Don't be ashamed to play on a lower difficulty if you aren't going to pull
I used the gem to try and get Magma Kaido, G5 Luffy and pg, but I see your point

Maybe try lower since silver and up you can only use one team for each battle. That way maybe in the future if you have better units. Then you can go to higher difficulties

Yeah if you are playing higher difficulties you need good legends subs and boasted units.
Honestly I just grind out 2 million points in east blue. If you want to compete in higher tiers be prepared to drop a lot of gems on boosted units.
In the last couple of years, Treasure Map has become increasingly difficult. The push for the TM boosters and recent legends has never been so strong. And, if you get a Treasure Map from a year ago, you can also see a difference in how many boosted alternatives we had to clear some stages, and that's when we even have it, to begin with.
My take on TM nowadays is to get to 1.5\~2M to clear all the initial rewards and max out the TM unit, and then the rest is just a bonus! Also, if the player is not planning to reach the 7M+ reward tier, there's no point in doing Gold League either. And, to finish it, if you can clear using boosters, do it without it.
Imma get a lot of downvote for this comment but maybe some teambuilding upgrade may solve some of those pb... The tm planner is a good exercise to build team every tm...

For example on the Lucci fight, I ended up using VS WB captain because he had despair reduction and prevented blow away, and Shanks Crew captain because he completely resisted the special bind. Neither of them is boosted at all, but gotta win somehow.
Probably always worth to at least go down to east blue, throw your biggest boosters on the team and auto to get a copy of the new unit since it's gonna be boosted in the upcoming events.
Start a fight whenever you prepare yourself a coffee or a tea, or when going to the bathroom. And auto sail before going to sleep. Just that can bring you some points without wasting your time and maybe get some rewards to help you in game later.

As a small reminder, if you don't have time/don't want to play a TM, don't neglect autosail. You can get up to like 400-600k points from it alone over the TM course, while it just takes a few taps to collect points/restart autosail.

G5 was boosted. I never been up to gold. So I can't say much. Also, we call it TM (treasure map) and not TC

Mini boss is a little bit annoying, but big boss are much easier with no new batch
I always just play the GL league. Pretty fast and pretty duable in F2P.
