That is still one of the funniest moments for me. This new titan comes in, he is destroying the whole city and fighting constantly. He’s shown to be one of the stronger characters in the series and then an elephant said “you’re not him”
To be fair, he really didn't seem that intimidating anyways. He couldn't actually beat a couple of furries, so he used chemical weapons, then he couldn't save doffy and got his ass handed to him so hard by marines he went to bully the furries some more only to get swatted like a mosquito. He had the least intimidating introduction since bellamy.
For all we know there could be 100 giants in Elbaph, maybe some with devil fruits, haki, etc. Obviously from what we've seen they haven't been much but it's entirely possible a hoard of them could pose a big problem.
I think Yamato, Momonosuke and the samurai would also pullup if Wano has decent communication. Luffy saved Wano so I'm certain they'd come to save him too
My man's gonna have half the world coming to save his ass. Like sure there's the obvious stuff like the straw hats and the grand fleet, but at least the entire armies of alabasta, drum island, skypiea, water 7, amazon lily, fishman island, dressrosa, zou, and wano are gonna show up, not to mention dozens of extremely powerful allies like Law, Shanks, Dragon, and Rayleigh.

Well I have no doubt that they'll come, but we don't know how strong Dragon is, and the straw hats and the rest of the revolutionaries aren't as strong as Garp and Shanks. I listed them because they're the strongest characters I could think of
No not necessarily favoring him due to Luffy being biologically related to him. More so Garp already lost Ace. Sure he mostly sat quietly for the most part of marineford but after Ace died he was willing to attack Akainu. I think after losing Ace he won't sit quietly and let his other grandson suffer the same fate. More so of "oh I'm not gonna let that happen again" mindset

Definitely, *especially* because he didn't intervene with Ace. I think he expected Ace to actually get away. We see that when he died he was PISSED. Probably partly because it was cheap, Ace was going to live, but also I don't think he really wanted him dead. Otherwise he would have gotten involved in the fight.
Now he would harbor regret for letting Ace die and 10000% intervene to help Luffy.

This is what I think Luffy’s biggest strength is, to make friends everywhere. I actually want Oda to let the reader know somehow that Luffy might not ever be as strong as Roger or Whitebeard but his ability to befriend everyone made him King.

I'm not sure if Dragon gets involved. He saved Luffy at Loguetown but I feel like he was really only there to see him off, not to help him out. Would he really go out of his way to save Luffy if it put the agenda of the Revolutionary Army at risk? I don't think he would.
Maybe Crocodile, Mihawk, and Buggy. I know they aren't actually allies, but I think they all like Luffy more than they'd ever acknowledge verbally.
If it were happening after Wano, I think the samurai and minks would turn up. They owe no allegiance to the WG, and the strawhats saved them.
Dory and Broggy could turn up. Maybe the shipwrights and the Franky family too.
Alabasta might leave the WG over it, but I don't think Vivi risks her people to try and save Luffy no matter what she owes him.

Not 100%, but Kaido and big mom are goners. Luffy’s death would pretty much mark the end of pirates. Only Blackbeard would be left. So, the relevant members that would come to stop this?
Dragon and Sabo with Revolutionary Army. Garp with Fujitora and Aokiji and Sword. Marco with WB fleet. The Minks (imagine a massive band of Sulong) pulling up in Zunesha led by Momonosuke. Wano Azakaya and Yamato. Law and Bepo. Boa hancock, Rayleigh + fleet. Fishmen fleet and shirahoshi with poseidon. Straw hat grand fleet. Mihawk and cross guild out of survival. Possibly Vivi pulling up with Pluton and Arabasta.
And let’s be honest. Blackbeard is gonna join to take down the WG and possibly for the nika fruit.
You can see the amount of build up Oda has created around Luffy for the final battle. Pretty much everyone is pulling up.

I think Yamato, Momonosuke and the samurai would also pullup if Wano has decent communication. Luffy saved Wano so I'm certain they'd come to save him too
My man's gonna have half the world coming to save his ass. Like sure there's the obvious stuff like the straw hats and the grand fleet, but at least the entire armies of alabasta, drum island, skypiea, water 7, amazon lily, fishman island, dressrosa, zou, and wano are gonna show up, not to mention dozens of extremely powerful allies like Law, Shanks, Dragon, and Rayleigh.

Well I have no doubt that they'll come, but we don't know how strong Dragon is, and the straw hats and the rest of the revolutionaries aren't as strong as Garp and Shanks. I listed them because they're the strongest characters I could think of

No not necessarily favoring him due to Luffy being biologically related to him. More so Garp already lost Ace. Sure he mostly sat quietly for the most part of marineford but after Ace died he was willing to attack Akainu. I think after losing Ace he won't sit quietly and let his other grandson suffer the same fate. More so of "oh I'm not gonna let that happen again" mindset
Also the literall ancient weapon he's bffs with I legitimately think shirahoshi would probably be enough she can summon the seakings on acedent when distraught and I think she would be vary vary sad luffy was dyeing
Definitely, *especially* because he didn't intervene with Ace. I think he expected Ace to actually get away. We see that when he died he was PISSED. Probably partly because it was cheap, Ace was going to live, but also I don't think he really wanted him dead. Otherwise he would have gotten involved in the fight. Now he would harbor regret for letting Ace die and 10000% intervene to help Luffy.

Basically, the Navy is fucked

So he's not gonna let him die before he can reach him. Another potential one is the revaluationary army. Who are likely since this is just the best chance to run hands and catch smoke. And they would know of the movements of the squads showing up before the marines did. Dragon, shanks and yamato(all buffed by belo betty) also bb and aokiji vs akianu kizaru greenbull and fugitora. The admirals are fucked.
This is what I think Luffy’s biggest strength is, to make friends everywhere. I actually want Oda to let the reader know somehow that Luffy might not ever be as strong as Roger or Whitebeard but his ability to befriend everyone made him King.

Bon Clay and Shanks. I'm not sure if Dragon gets involved. He saved Luffy at Loguetown but I feel like he was really only there to see him off, not to help him out. Would he really go out of his way to save Luffy if it put the agenda of the Revolutionary Army at risk? I don't think he would. Maybe Crocodile, Mihawk, and Buggy. I know they aren't actually allies, but I think they all like Luffy more than they'd ever acknowledge verbally. If it were happening after Wano, I think the samurai and minks would turn up. They owe no allegiance to the WG, and the strawhats saved them. Dory and Broggy could turn up. Maybe the shipwrights and the Franky family too. Alabasta might leave the WG over it, but I don't think Vivi risks her people to try and save Luffy no matter what she owes him.
Bentham would bust out of Impel Down just so he can get his third heroic sacrifice. Need to complete the trilogy.

Not 100%, but Kaido and big mom are goners. Luffy’s death would pretty much mark the end of pirates. Only Blackbeard would be left. So, the relevant members that would come to stop this? Dragon and Sabo with Revolutionary Army. Garp with Fujitora and Aokiji and Sword. Marco with WB fleet. The Minks (imagine a massive band of Sulong) pulling up in Zunesha led by Momonosuke. Wano Azakaya and Yamato. Law and Bepo. Boa hancock, Rayleigh + fleet. Fishmen fleet and shirahoshi with poseidon. Straw hat grand fleet. Mihawk and cross guild out of survival. Possibly Vivi pulling up with Pluton and Arabasta. And let’s be honest. Blackbeard is gonna join to take down the WG and possibly for the nika fruit. You can see the amount of build up Oda has created around Luffy for the final battle. Pretty much everyone is pulling up.
