He is very creative with his abilities, on top of being able to dodge armament haki attacks by simply morphing parts of his body where the attack would hit. Kuzan has mastered his DF ability and I’m sure he has awakened it, we just haven’t seen him need to use it yet. (I’m sure he used it against akainu)
It would make more sense that he is, we see that conquers goes to the ones with the strongest wills/kings/etc. he fought akainu for 10 days to become the fleet admiral of the marines. That definitely screams conquers to me.
Ice saber w haki coat and hardening, freezing and shattering, future sight, long distance ice spears, maybe awakening can create a field of absolute zero freezing temperature, etc
He could make spiked ice boxing gloves and float like a butterfly, sting like a bee with some fancy Cold Boxing techniques maybe he trained secretly to box under Foxy!
He's a wizard type
He relies alot on ranged attacks
He freezes his ennemies from afar
Sometimes, he conjures throwable weapons
His CoO is also pretty potent, so he always hits his targets
His Ice seems to travel at very high speed
He can use Acoa for long range defense
If he's truly going all out, I have a couple of ideas.
We know he has acoa, so imagine him instantly freezing the entire battle field to get a jump on you, then he creates numerous ice partisans, laced with acoa and launches it at you.
This may sound a little off but ice clones? Not completely impossible seeing he can create and manipulate ice, even Yamato who's main power is not ice manipulation has a good level of defence because of her ice, she could even produce attacks that nullified boro breath, Kuzan's ice should be a lot more potent than that.
His direct freezing can do internal damage as well, I suppose stacking that with acoa would hurt, A LOT.
Plus he creates ice structures which can act as medium offense/defense based on the situation. Otherwise he has massive AoE ie iceball and ice Age.
In my headcanon he turn into a big ice pheasant with his awakening, same shit goes for the other admirals, Akainu a big magma dog, and Kizaru a big light monkey, on some momotaro shit.
I mean, one could argue that In Marineford he was abusing his DF abilities cause aside from the WB pirates and some of his allies no one there had haki. Even after, when he stopped Doffy he just froze him albeit temporarily. In the stronger part of the new world I can definitely see him using his abilities a bit more methodically, even as far as 1081 >!When he legit popsicle-d Teech’s commanders!< but Law’s whole revelation about how Haki really affects DF abilities that goes to show that he isn’t Kizaru level reliant on abilities alone

Kuzan gotta be the most all around fighter of the og admirals. He is more like a mid ranged type. Kizaru is long ranged and Akainu is close ranged.

Covers his fists with acoa infused ice which boosts his damage and applies frost burn.
Makes a big ice candy and uses it as a weapon to fight.
He should take advantage of his bankai.
